Did Kriti Sanon skip her family vacation to begin shooting for 'Housefull 4'?

Kriti Sanon impressed everyone with her performance in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'. Post the movie the actress has received a lot of offers from big filmmakers. Amongst the bunch of these projects, one is 'Housefull 4'. The actress is currently shooting for the much-awaited film in London.

Well, according to reports by a tabloid Kriti Sanon apparently skipped her family vacation to complete the London schedule of the film. The actress likes spending time with her parents and is usually seen vacationing with her family. But this time the actress chose to skip the trip for her professional commitments. While reports have it that Kriti's sister Nupur along with her family have taken off for a trip to Montreal.

Directed by Sajid Khan 'Housefull 4' also stars Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Chunky Panday. The film is set to hit the screens on Diwali 2019.

Kriti Sanon to receive Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'

Kriti Sanon impressed everyone with her performance in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'. The 27-year-old actress has now won Dadasaheb Phalke excellence award 2018 for a memorable performance in a lead role (Female) for her sleeper hit film 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'.

Kriti played the role of Bitti, a young and free minded girl, from a small town, Bareilly in the movie. Along with her the film also featured Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao in lead role.

Besides Kriti Sanon, actress Anushka Sharma, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Ranveer Singh have also been chosen as the recipients of the honour. Ranveer Singh will be honoured for his performance in 'Padmaavat'. Anushka Sharma will be awarded for her efforts in backing clutter-breaking content which has become genre-defining success stories. While Tamannaah will receive the award for her performance in 'Baahubali: The Beginning'.

The winners shall be felicitated by the Mumbai-based Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation on April 21.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon will be next seen in 'Arjun Patiala' along with Diljit Dosanjh. Directed by Rohit Jugraj the film will hit the screens on September 13. She will also soon start working on 'Housefull 4'.

Kriti belongs to a well-educated Indian family. Her father, Rahul Sanon is Chartered Accountant by profession while her mother, Geeta Sanon is a professor at the University of Delhi. She has a younger sister name Nupur. Nupur is very close to Kriti and is often seen making appearances with the actress at various events and parties.

Film debut down south

Contrary to the public belief, 'Heropanti' was not Kriti's first film. She made her big screen debut with a Telugu psychological thriller titled 'Nenokkadine'. Her performance in the film was well-liked by critics and her chemistry with co-star Mahesh Babu was much appreciated. In four years, the actress has done two Telugu films and four Hindi films.

Trained classical Kathak dancer

Given her svelte figure and features, it's no surprise that the diva is a fitness freak.
