As celebrity parents, Kareena and Saif are often bombarded with questions about their young starlet. Recently, Kareena confessed in an interview that she and Saif are worried about their son being stalked by the paps beyond a point, however, she appreciated the shutterbugs for maintaining the distance. Kareena also revealed that it is she who spoils Taimur a lot and she also gets criticized by Saif for the same.
The actress said that according to Saif is like "You Don't know how to discipline him.’ And obviously, Saif is like don't do this, you have to do this and you have to do that." Kareena says Saif has more experience and he is doing a wonderful job because he is giving so much time to Taimur. The actress also said that when she is with Taimur, she doesn't pay attention to anything.

Kareena said she has found the “perfect balance” between her personal and professional life, stating that if she works on a week-long schedule, she makes it a point to take two-three days off just to be with her son and her friends.
Kareena will soon begin work on a family drama titled ‘Good News’, with Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles.
She will then begin work on Karan Johar’s period film ‘Takht’, co-starring Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.

Talking about her airport looks, she stated that her style has been more of casual chic than a couture one. She feels airport looks can't be like the ramp style, with high heels and makeup, as it not possible practically. She thinks she a "practical dresser.”

The actress, who was last seen in 'Udta Punjab', feels it is going to be a little difficult for her to manage personal and professional life after Taimur's birth.
"I've always had a personal and professional life but of course, now it's more difficult. I try and strike a balance. I am starting a shoot of a movie so he (Taimur) may come with me. The father (Saif Ali Khan) also has to take a little bit responsibility. That's where 'Ki & Ka' comes in," she said.
Kareena will start filming 'Veere Di Wedding' this year, which also features Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar.

However, when probed about the controversy by a daily, the new mummy expressed her shock saying that she though the incident was “bizarre”. Kareena also admitted that she had no idea why people took her son’s name so personally, and also went on to say that it had “no resemblance to any person living or dead”. Like Saif, the actress also insisted that it was the meaning behind the name – Taimur in Arabic means Iron - that made them fall in love with it. Thanking friends and family who let them their support, the star said that it was their support that mattered more than the bad things that were said or written.
On the work front, Kareena will be seen alongside Sonam Kapoor in 'Veere Di Wedding', while hubby Saif will soon be promoting his film ‘Rangoon’ alongside Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor.

If latest reports are anything to go by, the star has cut short her maternity break and will soon resume work and professional commitments next month. Kareena, who debuted her baby bump on the ramp last year, will mark her return by walking the ramp for a Mumbai-based designer at a fashion show in February. Post that, Kareena will begin work on the Reha Kapoor’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’ that also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar.

She went on to add that one trait in herself that annoyed her was her constant overthinking and worrying about minute, inconsequential things.
