Director buddied Karan Johar and Farah Khan had a pleasant run-in at the star-studded Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on Monday evening. Dressed in their traditional best attire, the stars hit the red carpet and posed for photos before heading in to offer their prayers to Lord Ganesha.

After seeking the blessings of the elephant god, several Bollywood stars, including Karan and Farah were seen catching up at the venue. To mark the day, the two directors got their pout on point as they posed together for a selfie. Raising a toast to their friendship, Karan said, “Some friendships are for life… love you @farahkhankunder.”

Farah shared the photo and commented, “They certainly are,” with a heart emoji.

Bollywood's ace director Karan Johar loves to spend time with his friends whenever possible and never fails to post his moments on his social media accounts.

Today, the filmmaker spent his weekend with his school and college buddies. He posted a picture from his reunion with his old buddies. KJo expressed that it was a lovely feeling to spend time with his friends. In the photo, he can be seen posing with them and was all smiles. He captioned, "School and college reunion! On the work front, Karan will soon kickstart his upcoming directorial 'Takht'.

The Bollywood industry used to swear by the friendship of Karan Johar and Kajol. But in 2016, after Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn had a public fallout on the clashing release date of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Shivaay’, things turned a bit cold. However, the trio has moved on now and it became more evident when Kajol and Ajay Devgn made an appearance on the season 6 of Karan Johar’s talk show, ‘Koffee With Karan’.

Kajol and Karan Johar took it to her social media handle to share the picture and video from the show. In the picture, the actress was sporting an all-black look, twinning with her Karan Johar too was donning a black suit, while Ajay Devgan was striking out in shades of blue. While putting the video on the social media handle, Kajol’s caption read, “All is well........ ��”.

Interestingly, the filmmaker debuted on the couch and played 'Rapid Fire' for the first time against Aamir Khan while Malaika Arora was the special judge of the show.

KJo's friendship with Twinkle Khanna and Kareena Kapoor is known to all and thus he was asked to pick one from the two whom he consider as a better friend. Though it was a hard question for KJo to answer as both the ladies are best and secure a special place in Karan's heart. However, when it comes to make a choice, KJo chose Kareena over Twinkle and also revealed that he would have married to Bebo if he had a choice and things were different in his life.

Kareena Kapoor will be seen in KJo's multi-starrer 'Takht' which will have a 2020 release.

The actor ringed in his birthday with his family and close friends in the night. He even waved his fans who were standing outside his Mannat bungalow to catch the glimpse and wish their superstar.

Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh recently shot for Karan Johar's talk show where Hollywood star Will Smith also graced the sets of the show. The filmmaker also posted a picture of the same on his Instagram.

Soon, after the shoot of the talk show, Ranveer, KJo and Will headed for the dinner. They were snapped by the paparazzi post their dinner at a restaurant in Mumbai. Will kept it cool in casuals while Ranveer, as always opted for a quirky eye-catching attire and Karan looked handsome in an all-black outfit. They were all smiles for the cameras.

Karan Johar is coming back on the small screen with his famous chat show wherein many celebrities have made headlines for their statements and the ace filmmaker is all set to welcome Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt in the first episode.

Taking to Twitter Kjo revealed that Deepika and Alia would be his first guests as his tweet read as "The first cup of koffee is all about #girlpower !! Welcome @deepikapadukone and @aliaa08 on episode 1 season 6". According to a report making round states that the mesmerising beauties would shoot for the show next week and the fans are just curious to see them reveal about their personal life on the show.

Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar make up the most successful actor-director combo in Bollywood and have delivered some of their respective career’s biggest blockbusters starting from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ to ‘My Name is Khan’. According to the latest reports, Karan has now completed the script of his next directorial venture on which he will begin shooting next year.
