Kajol: Lesser known facts

Actress Kajol's wax statue is all set to be unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Singapore and guess who will join her at the opening ceremony. It will be none other than her daughter Nysa who has been studying in the same city.

A sculpting team had come to Mumbai in January to collect over 200 measurements of the actress' eyes, hair and other dimensions for the artwork. However, husband Ajay Devgn will reportedly not be able to accompany the actress as he is busy shooting in Mumbai.

Nevertheless, it will still be a special moment for Kajol and Nysa to witness the unveiling of the actress' statue at the tourist destination.

Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan are busy with the promotions of their upcoming film Dilwale. According to a report on Mid-day.com, the actress is finding it difficult to match her co-star SRK’s energy levels. It goes on to say that Kajol, who’s finding the schedule a little too hectic, has reportedly told the production team to keep her informed about the plan for the next day, a day in advance, instead of sharing the entire schedule. The film, Dilwale is slated to hit the theatres on December 18.

'My children taught me to practise what I preach'

Kajol thinks that messages should be passed through children not by just telling them to follow basic hygiene, but also practising it. The actress, who has been promoting hygiene and urging kids to wash their hands thoroughly, has been quoted in a PTI report as saying that, "As far as kids are concerned it is important to do things ourselves first. I have learnt from my children that practise what you preach. They follow it religiously and so do I. We show to kids on the UV light how one can see germs, so they understand why we ask them to wash hands. My husband Ajay knows about this campaign as I do discuss things with him. He is not creatively involved with it."

Kajol rules millions of hearts and even if the beauty is away from the silver screen since the past five years, she has managed to be counted as one of the leading ladies of Bollywood. Recently, Kajol suddenly stormed off teary-eyed from an event after a hush-hush phone call that left everyone stunned. Kajol, who is usually reluctant to talk to the media, was interacting with the press at her sister, Tanishaa Mukerji’s play, The Jury, when a phone call unsettled her so much that she left midway. According to an IANS report, the actress' phone was constantly ringing and while she chose to ignore it at first, she took the call eventually. However, after talking rapidly in hushed tones, she apologised to the media for having to leave the event at once. Reportedly, she looked extremely worried while looking for her car and driver and asked him in Marathi to rush back. She even asked him to move out of the driver’s seat and drove away herself.
