A complaint was lodged against the controversial godwoman, Radhe Maa, for allegedly encouraging her followers to demanding dowry. TV actor, Rahul Mahajan, was the first to tweet Radhe Maa's controversial photographs where she was seen wearing a mini skirt. These pictures immediately caused an uproar online. Sukhvinder Kaur aka Radhe Maa boasts of an impressive fan-following. Many of her fans are high profile politicians and actors. Subhash Ghai
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, a devotee of Radhe Maa, shared an extensive post on his Facebook page in her support, saying she "had been very affectionate" to Ghai and his wife Mukta. "Being the devotees of mata Vaishnu Devi Me n my wife mukta have been visiting Radhey Maa to take her blessings since last year at mata ki chowki at Borivali Bhuvan held by her old devotees. Even we held one mata ki chowki at our residence n invited her to bless us n other devotees. She had been very affectionate to both of us N treat us like her parents. We have never experienced any such kind of indecent act or atmosphere as being talked about in society today," [sic] he wrote. According to a Indiatoday.com report, he had further stated that being ardent devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi, he and his wife have been visiting Radhe Maa to take her blessings since the last year at the mata ki chowki held at the Borivali Bhawan.

Manoj Tiwari & Ravi Kishan
Manoj Tiwari frequently performs at bhakti events organised in honour of Radhe Maa. He is also known to be an ardent follower of Radhe Maa and is often seen clicking pictures with the godwoman.

The badshaah of the Bhojpuri industry, Ravi Kishan, is also a bhakt of the self-proclaimed godwoman. He is often seen at the events that she organises.

Rakhi Sawant
Self-styled God-woman, Radhe Maa, has been in trouble ever since an FIR was lodged against her by a woman who accused her of instigating her in-laws to demand dowry. Adding insult to the injury were the leaked pictures of Radhe Maa in which she was seen wearing a red dress. However, Radhe Maa's Bollywood followers have come to her rescue. After Subhash Ghai’s Facebook post defending the lady, Rakhi Sawant has come to her rescue. A report on Bollywoodlife.com claims that Rakhi was quoted as saying that she respects Radhe Maa and that there was a different aura about her. Rakhi also said that she thinks Radhe Maa is full of positive energy.

Dolly Bindra
Dolly Bindra was an ardent follower of the godwoman. Her social-networking account is filled with pictures of her and Radhe Maa. She stood by the godwoman and justified her choice of dresses. However, in a turn of events, Dolly Bindra has written to the Mumbai Police Commissioner complaining that she has received threatening calls. In an ANI report, Dolly has been quoted as saying that, "I am getting life-threatening calls and I doubt on Radhe Maa, MM Gupta, and Asaram's followers over it. I have filed a complaint and the police will investigate the matter."

Prahlad Kakkar
The famous ad guru, Prahlad Kakkar, too, is a fan of Radhe Maa and is spotted at various occasions with the controversial godwoman. In a report on Indiatvnews.com, Prahlad Kakkar questioned the protests against Radhe Maa by arguing that it isn’t necessary for sadhus to wear rags and sport dreadlocks. He asserted that Radhe Maa's style makes her unique.


Apart from these celebs, Mukesh Khanna, popularly known as Shaktimaan of the small screen, Gajendra Chauhan, who was recently embroiled in the FTII controversy, Hum Aapke Hai Koun fame, Sahila Chaddha, popular pop-singer, Daler Mehendi and cricketer, Navjyot Singh Sidhu are also Radhe Maa bhakts.
