Irrfan Khan's 'Madaari' is all set to hit theatres on 22nd July. A screening of the same was held a Light Box, Santacruz, Mumbai last night and it was a pleasant surprise to see Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut at the screening. For those wondering why we called Kangana's appearance surprising, here's what happened... not too long ago. The buzz was that Irrfan Khan was upset with Kangana for opting out of a Sai Kabir film that the two were supposed to star in. Also, when asked about the same, Irrfan had sarcastically said that Kangana had gone so out of reach that he will work with her only if he wishes to be a heroine. Well, with the 'Queen' actress' appearance at the screening, it's clear that the two have buried the hatchet and were seen sharing great camaraderie at the screening.

Sonakshi Sinha celebrated her birthday on June 2 with a bang in the company of her close friends. While her fans were treated with the release of the poster of her upcoming film ‘Noor’, Sona made sure she rang in the big day with a blast. However, the presence of Sonakshi’s alleged ex-boyfriend who happens to be her friend Seema Khan’s brother Bunty Sajdeh, fueled speculations of a possible patch-up. The actresses, who were regarded to be rivals during their heydays, never saw eye to eye despite having worked together in several films. Ajay Devgn: Shah Rukh and I are just colleagues, not good friends

While Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan share an incredible chemistry on and off-screen, the latter's equation with Kajol's husband Ajay Devgn has been under constant scrutiny. However, their recent picture where the two were seen dining together, hinted towards a new budding friendship between them. But Ajay has refuted the reports about their friendship and said that they are just colleagues and not "good friends", reports PTI.

"We are not good friends as we don't meet often. We are very casual. Whenever we meet we are like colleagues... It is all normal between us," he was quoted. SRK and Devgn had a fall out during the release of their films Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardaar in 2012 over screen sharing. Asked if they buried the hatchet, he said, "We did not talk about it. It was not a war between me and Shah Rukh or Adi (producer Aditya Chopra) and me. It was between ADF (Ajay Devgn Films) and YRF (Yash Raj Films). Both were right as we both were trying to protect our films... A lot of money was riding on both the films. So we had to fight for our product. I did message Adi saying I had nothing against him... and have no qualms.”

The pictures of Devgn and SRK's meeting in Bulgaria during the shooting of Rohit Shetty's Dilwale had gone viral on social media. "It was over hyped. I feel the whole problem between us was also over hyped as there was no problem. The media just kept writing about it," the 46-year-old actor said.

Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who were caught up in a bitter fight over the casting of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh for their respective films, have kissed and made up, reports Mumbai Mirror. Last August, two of Bollywood's A-list filmmakers were embroiled in a bitter war of words. Karan was spitting venom because Sanjay, who pulled off a casting coup by roping in the lead pair of his last film, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela, for his next film, Bajirao Mastani. Reportedly, the fight was because KJo had planned to cast the two stars in his ambitious film, Shhuddhi, after the original leads, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor, dropped out, a fact that he denied. In an interview to Mirror (July 17, 2014) Karan had said that he shares a "formal, civil and amicable equation with Sanjay, nothing beyond that. So there's no reason for me to speak to him about Shhuddhi. He didn't discuss the Bajirao Mastani announcement with me." In another interview, KJo also said that SLB has gone into a space of 'negativity and darkness'. To this Bhansali had retorted (Mirror, September 3, 2014), "I've never understood why someone, who you think is a friend, would publicly talk ill about you."

On being quizzed about poaching Karan's stars, he argued, "I had my cast in place, so I didn't need Karan's permission. I've never had an ambition to become the most powerful man in the industry." The bitterness stayed for the subsequent months and the two never interacted. However, the age-old adage of there being no permanent friends or foes in the industry continues to ring true. At a recent bash the two found themselves next to each other and hugged, kissed and sorted out their past differences, the report stated. The report quoted a source who witnessed the midnight encounter, "They looked at each other... And just smiled. It was as if they had never fought. They spoke for a good 30 minutes about everything, from current films to their past differences. By the time they were ready to go home, all was well." When Mirror reached out to Bhansali, he said, "It's nice when you meet old friends.and start over as if you'd never fought. The bitterness is behind us now, for good."

Atul Kasbekar and Aditya Thackeray also replied to these tweets with Aditya revealing that it was the effect of the biryani they had, that caused them to act the way they had.

Rakhi Sawant and Mika Singh were once involved in the infamous controversy in 2006 when the latter kissed Rakhi at his birthday party. However, according to an IANS report, Mika will soon do a song featuring the item girl. The report further states that the two were spotted together at the trailer launch of upcoming movie Mumbai Can Dance Saalaa, which stars Rakhi. When asked about working with Rakhi in the future, Mika said to IANS, "Yes, whenever we get a chance, we would definitely do a song together in future. But for now, we both are busy in our work."

After their infamous fallout, post the forced kiss on Mika's birthday party, the two couldn't see eye to eye. They also spoke about the incident in public, each accusing the other of wrongdoing. However, the two seem to have bumped into each other at the airport leading to their patch up. Post the meeting and the mandatory selfie, Mika posted the picture on his Twitter handle with a tweet that read, "Guess who caught me whilst I was trying to run at the airport.. My old friend enemy Rakhi Sawant :) bachaooooooo" [sic] The tweet ended with a winking smiley implying the obvious sarcastic undertones in Mika's tweet.

After they played lovers in Valentine's Day release, Gunday, Priyanka and Ranveer Singh were reportedly not very cordial with each other. It was often reported that the two gave each other the cold shoulder while shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do. Though the two have neither confirmed nor denied the sense of animosity between them, their Twitter exchanges hint that all is indeed well between the two. Ranveer Singh, who has recently launched his official Instagram handle celebrating four years of him being a part of Bollywood, posted a picture of Priyanka smashing a cake on his face, taken earlier, with the caption that went, "Birthday on the set! #pc #smash #cake #face #yummy #lickme #4YearsOfRanveerSingh" Priyanka Chopra immediately retweeted the picture with a tweeted that read, "Lol that was way funny." [sic] Now if this isn't squashing rumours, what is?

Reports of differences between cousins Rani Mukerji and Kajol only got stronger when the former didn't invite the latter to her secret wedding to Aditya Chopra. In an interview to The Times Of India, Tanuja had said, "I wasn't invited. It's okay. Even I haven't kept in touch with the family. But she is a good girl. When we meet at Durga pujas, we meet warmly." However, according to a report in Masala.com, Rani and Kajol recently met up at a party and were very cordial to each other. The reports further state that the two hugged each other at the party and Kajol congratulated Rani on her marriage while Rani enquired about Tanuja's health.

After arch rivals Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan buried the hatchet recently, it is Karan Johar and Kajol's turn to be friends again. According to a report in DNA, Kajol and Karan had been avoiding each other at events but when they recently came face to face, the two evidently patched up. The report further states that the duo cried, hugged and laughed after having sorted all their differences. Things reportedly soured between Karan and Kajol when the former made some personal comments about Kajol.

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar solved their differences at the former's 49th birthday party. A report on bollywoodlife.com quotes a prominent director, who attended the party, as saying, “It was a night to remember. Shah Rukh was in his element. Gauri and he greeted every guest personally. Karan Johar who was rumoured to have had a fallout with Shah Rukh, mingled easily with the guests. Karan made an effort to reach out to Shah Rukh. The two were actually warm to each other after a long time. Shah Rukh is in a very happy state of mind, what with the birth of AbRam and the success of Happy New Year. He was very warm towards Karan after a very long time. That apart, almost every leading lady from Bollywood barring Katrina was there. Shah Rukh had time and attention for all of them.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who shared a brotherly relationship earlier and also worked together in Karan Arjun, had an ugly spat in 2008. The fight took place at Katrina's birthday party and the two have been at loggerheads since then. It seems like both the Khans were in no mood to patch up. The actors made an appearance at Baba Siddiqui's Iftar party and their 'hug' took the nation by storm. Post that, Shah Rukh and Salman bonded big time over Arpita Khan's wedding and were even seen shaking a leg to 'Chaiya Chaiya' together on the dance floor. They have both, on different occasions, also admitted to the fact that their differences have been sorted.

Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan who have entertained the audience with hit films like Happy New Year, Om Shanti Om, Main Hoon Naa had a major tiff some time ago. Reason? Farah opted for Akshay Kumar instead of buddy SRK for Tees Maar Khan. But they have patched up for good now and are friends again. Their joint venture Happy New Year did well at the box-office.

Back in the '80s, Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha worked together in several films like Kaala Patthar, Dostana and Shaan. But post that they never saw eye-to-eye. Both the actors apparently had ego issues and stayed away from each other. Shatrughan Sinha was quoted in a Mumbai Mirror report as saying, "Jawaani thi, josh tha, there were ego issues." But the feud seems to have ended when, after three decades, Shatrughan Sinha visited the Bachchans with his family to celebrate Diwali. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, he said, "I would say it was a Ram-Bharat milap. The Bachchan family invited us and we were treated as if we were the chief guests. All four of them, even Amitabh's daughter Shweta, welcomed us warmly and took good care of us." The report further stated that back in 2007, Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha's conflict had hit a new low. At that time Shatrughan Sinha had returned the boxes of sweet that had come from Big B's house after the wedding of Abhishek and Aishwarya, stating, "Jab bulaaya nahin phir mithai kis baat ki?" However Big B had responded then that those who were not invited were not friends to begin with.

Ajay Devgn, who was shooting at a school in Bandra, got an unexpected visitor on the sets. According to a report in Bombay Times, Shah Rukh Khan was driving past Mehboob Studio when he spotted Rohit Shetty's Man Friday, Subhash. In his flamboyant style, he rolled down his windows and asked the valet what he was doing in the area.

Subhash informed him that Ajay, Rohit and Kareena Kapoor Khan were shooting at a school close by and he was doing some miscellaneous shopping for them. Instead of heading to Mannat, SRK took a slight detour and went over to the Singham Returns shoot. He surprised everyone by walking up to Ajay and giving him a warm hug.

Those present on the sets state that Rohit and Kareena's jaws dropped on seeing the bonhomie between the two superstars, who had had a bitter fallout during the clash of their Diwali releases — Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardaar in 2012. While Rohit has always wanted the two most important men in his life — Ajay and SRK to warm up to one another, what happened in Mumbai left him stunned. This meeting was unexpected, spontaneous and emotional.

Juhi Chawla and Aamir Khan, who have romanced each other in blockbusters like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, and Ishq, didn't speak to each other for approximately five years. Juhi spilled the beans on Koffee With Karan about her fight with Aamir that happened on the sets of Ishq. The actress explained how Aamir's prank irritated her so much that she decided not to go on shoot the next day which ultimately led to the shoot being cancelled. But the professional Aamir Khan didn't appreciate Juhi's behaviour. However, one fine day, after not speaking to each other for years, Juhi decided to call up and meet Aamir. They met each other, cleared the misunderstanding and ended their big fight.

Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta had been friends for more than 20 years before they parted ways over creative differences. The duo delivered quite a few hits like Kaante, Zinda, Shootout at Wadala, Dus Kahaniyaan, Khauff, Jung and Plan but after the fallout, both of them publicly made comments against each other in many interviews. The two however sorted their differences and are on good terms now.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rani Mukerji, who once shared friendly equation, suddenly turned foes for reasons unknown. It is said that Rani and Ash were friends until the former bagged Chalte Chalte which was offered to Aishwarya. It is alleged that the 'once good pals' turned foes because of Sonam Kapoor's remarks about Ranbir Kapoor on Koffee With Karan which later took an ugly turn. It is also said that Rishi Kapoor's response to the comments made by Sonam worsened the friendship between the pals.

Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor-The two hottest babes of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra, once shared a great rapport and became friends while they were working together for Aitraaz. However, things turned out for the worse when Bebo got upset with Pee Cee getting all the applause after the release of Aitraaz. Recently in an episode of Koffee with Karan, the duo publicly displayed the mutual dislike between them. Not only that, Kareena and Pee Cee also had a common factor between them: Shahid Kapoor. Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Rampal- It is known to all that king Khan and Arjun Rampal were buddies. But things turned worse between them post the release of Ra.One. What took a toll on their budding friendship is still a secret. The actors stopped speaking to each other post Ra.One for reasons better known to them. Their discomfort towards each other was spotted at many parties and events.

Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar- Ajay and Akshay's equation is no longer the same as it was in the movie Suhag.
