Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ leaked online days before release date

After getting cleared with eight minor cuts by Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT), the makers of ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ find themselves in fresh trouble. If reports are to be believed, the film has been leaked online just days before its release.

‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ joins the long list of films like ‘Great Grand Masti’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ that have been leaked online. The film is scheduled to release on August 25, 2017, alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘A Gentleman’.

Nawaz will be seen essaying the role of a sharp shooter named Babu and the actor has taken special lessons in handling guns and action for the role. Directed by Kushan Nandy,’ Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ was initially supposed to have Chitrangda Singh as the female lead. However, she later backed out of the project, making way for Bidita Bag.

"The fight against piracy is critical and it's reassuring to see the swift action taken by the Crime Branch on the unfortunate incident involving our film 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha.I would like urge my friends, colleagues, fans and audiences to please say no to piracy. Udta Punjab

It seems like Shahid Kapoor-starrer 'Udta Punjab' is controversy’s favourite child. After a huge ruckus at the CBFC, the film has been leaked two days before its release. Even though the film was removed from the torrent (online portal for download movies), it is a sad fate for the movie as it will directly affect its box-office collection. Reports suggest that a 40-minute clip had been leaked on the internet which contained the most crucial scenes of the film. While some reports also claim that few websites have the entire film running on their portals. Well, that's horrifying!

Mohalla Assi

The makers have no clue as to how a film made with so much conviction gets released online. But that's true, Sunny Deol starrer 'Mohalla Assi' was leaked online even before its release. Not only that the film is still stuck in the courts for a long time and is waiting for its release date. The reason why the movie is stuck in the court is that someone from Delhi had brought a stay order on the film as it contained abusive language when he saw the promos of the film. The movie stars Sakshi Tanwar and Ravi Kishan in promising roles.
