Fawad Khan invites Shah Rukh Khan to his hometown in Pakistan

Pakistani artistes Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ghulam Ali were recently targeted by the Shiv Sena. Fundamentalists in the country did not spare Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan either and criticised his comment on the growing intolerance in the country. However, according to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, Fawad Khan has made an attempt to salvage the situation, by inviting King Khan to Pakistan. Speaking at a charity event, the charming actor said that SRK is a good friend of his and that he would be inviting him to his hometown, Peshawar. Well, we can only wait and see if SRK accepts the invitation.

Salman Khan: Since Bajrangi Bhaijaan's story revolves around a mute Pakistani girl lost in India, promoting the film in the neighbouring country would be an obvious thought. According to a report on Bollywoodhungama.com, Salman Khan had claimed that if a premiere of the film was being held across the border, he would be more than willing to hop over to promote it. Salman was also quoted in the report as saying that he was very keen on singing a song for the film and that he would definitely sing one track from the music compilation of the film, while in Pakistan.

Shah Rukh Khan: The Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has millions of fans across the globe and is loved by many. And like his other contemporaries, even SRK had once expressed his desire to visit Pakistan. The actor, in fact, wanted to take his kids Aryan, Suhana and AbRam to Peshawar. According to a PTI report, SRK said that his family is from Peshawar and a few of them still live there. When he was 15, his father took him there and he has some of the best memories of the time he spent in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar with his father. He further added that he wished he could take his kids there someday. The actor was also surrounded by controversies prior to the release of My Name Is Khan, when he had shown interest in hiring Pakistani players for his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.

Aamir Khan: Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood had courted controversies after the release of the his film PK. Though Aamir Khan has already visited the neighbouring country Pakistan during the promotions of Ketan Mehta's Mangal Pandey, during one of his interviews for PK with a Pakistani website, the actor showed interest of visiting the country again. While promoting PK, the actor was quoted saying in an interview with Insteptoday.com that he might be Raja Hindustani, but his heart beats for Pakistan. Aamir also spoke about the amazing response that his film Taare Zameen Par received in Paksitan, and the die-hard fans he has in that country. The Fanaa actor further added that he has a lot of relatives in Karachi, and he will soon visit Pakistan.

The film also stars Fawad Khan and according to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, it seems Sidharth's bonding with Fawad has made him interested in Pakistan. The report further states that he is eager to visit Pakistan.

Kareena Kapoor Khan: The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actress is known to be candid and never shies away from voicing her opinions. While promoting her film, the actress had expressed her desire to visit Pakistan. The Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor-starrer film revolves around the bonding between a little girl from Pakistan and a man (Salman Khan) from India. According to the report, Bebo said that she felt like going to Pakistan many times and that she even got an invitation from Lahore since Saif's entire family is there. Kareena also added that she would love to visit the country, especially for its food as she is fond of Pakistani cuisine.
