Bollywood celebs cast their vote

Bollywood came in full attendance for the final phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections. Bollywood A- listers like Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor were among the early birds who cast their votes. Many of the celebrities posted their voting selfies on Twitter. Not only this, these celebrities have also urged their fans to go and vote. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan are expected to will leave for IIFA weekend only after casting their votes.

Vidya Balan reached Chembur booth to cast her vote soon after the polling began. She was among the first ones to cast her vote. National Award Winning actress Vidya said, "It is important to vote before pointing a finger at the leaders." Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt took to Twitter to praise Vidya. He Tweeted, "Vidya Balan votes as Mumbai sleeps".

Sonam Kapoor too shared her voting picture on instagram and Twitter. She tweeted," #vote #jaihind". Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia was also among the early voters in Mumbai today. While Kareena has surprised everyone by flying off for IIFA her best friend Amrita Arora posted a picture on Twitter after voting. She tweeted, "I rocked my vote!All done,I feel good...come on mumbai,get up n get out thr..Let's Rage..our vote!! "

Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham posted a selfie after voting. He also tweeted, "I cast my Vote... So must every Indian who is eligible. Be responsible".


Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty too posted a picture of hers after voting. She tweeted, "Hey Tweeto's Every vote counts. Make yours count too be a responsible Indian."

Dino Morea was also among the early voters. The actor tweeted, "I just did. Did you??".

Tamil superstars Kamal Haasan and Rajnikanth also voted early in the morning in Chennai. While Rajnikanth came to vote alone, Kamal Haasan was accompanied by his live in partner, Gauthami.

Filmmaker Kunal Kohli lashed out at Bollywood celebs for not casting votes. He tweeted, "@FarOutAkhtar proud of you that you casting your vote then going for #IIFA2014 why couldn't others do that?"

Aamir Khan who has brought a new wave of change in Indian society and mindset with his show 'Satyamev Jayate' also voted. The actor cast his vote in Mumbai today morning.

Bollywood hunk Milind Soman also voted in Mumbai. He tweeted, "Get out and vote :)"

Bollywood's dimpled girl Preity Zinta also voted in Mumbai. The actress posted a picture soon after voting. She also tweeted, "It's time to stop complaining about the system & take action. Boys n girls either Vote now or forever keep Quiet !"

Dia Mirza also posted a picture of hers while voting on Twitter. She tweeted, "Thank you Khar Police:) and thank you #EC for making it such a simple n convenient experience:)"
