Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma wedding: Bollywood congratulates the couple

Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan's wedding to Delhi based businessman Aayush Sharma has created a lot of buzz in the media of late. The couple who tied the knot on November 19, 2014 at the Taj Falaknuma Palace, will have a grand reception in Mumbai over the coming weekend (November 21). The who's who of B-town is expected to attend, especially those guests who could not make it to the wedding in Hyderabad due to work or personal commitments. While the social media is actively posting snapshots and little bits of information from the wedding, the hash tag #HappyMarriedLifeArpita started trending. Here's a look at stars who blessed and wished this couple a happy married life on the social media.

Aamir Khan along with wife Kiran Rao and son Azad Rao Khan were part of Arpita's wedding celebrations in Hyderabad and this couple seemed to have a blast! From clicking selfies to crooning 'Aati Kya Khandala' on stage, Aamir and Kiran added cheer and upped the fun factor at this mega wedding. In his interview to Lehren TV, Aamir blessed the newlyweds, "My best wishes are with Arpita and her husband Aayush Sharma. and may there be happiness in their lives. Health and happiness."

'Desi' girl, Priyanka Chopra, looked glamorous in a blue and gold saree that she wore to Arpita Khan's wedding. The actress was also seen sharing the stage with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan as they took to celebrate Arpita's wedding to Aayush. Pee Cee was also a part of the gala celebrations and was constantly posting updates on her Twitter account. She took to the micro blogging site to wish her friend all the best. "Mere yaar ki shaadi thi.. @khanarpita I wish you love that is like a beautiful song..from the beginning to the end.. A lifetime of joy..." [sic]

Amrita Arora Ladakh is part of the Khan-daan and was seen having a blast with the entire family. She posed along with sister Malaika Arora Khan and Sohail's wife Seema Khan. Dressed in beautiful creation by Shela Khan and Seema Khan herself, Amrita looked gorgeous and made sure she did not miss any of the fun moments. She took to Twitter to post, "The beautiful bride who had a wedding befitting a royal princess:). The lovely Bride my pita@khanarpita! What a beautifullll ceremony!congratulatins Mr n Mrs sharma...pitaaaaaaaa!wow." [sic]

In the same interview to Lehren TV, siblings Farhan and Zoya Akhtar also conveyed their best wishes.

Farhan Akhtar was heard saying, "I congratulate them and give them best wishes. lots of love. They are like family to me since I was born."

Zoya Akhtar added, "I wish Arpita a very very happy life."

Riteish Deshmukh posted on Twitter, "The brother & the bride -Beautiful Ceremony @khanarpita wishing you all the happiness in the world - loads of love." [sic]

Performing at the wedding was talented singer Mika who shared the stage with Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Arbaaz Khan. Mika, who belted his chartbusters for the guests at the celebrations, seemed to rock the night with the Khans. While Aamir and Salman were crooning on stage to songs like 'Aati Kya Khandala' and 'Jumma Chumma,' Mika looked bemused. He took to Twitter to wish the newlyweds, "Mika Singh Wishes Arpita Gm & good night.. Have a great day.. Arpita' and Ayush wishing you both a happy married life .. @BeingSalmanKhan" [sic]

While the wedding functions were dominated by some Bollywood bigwigs like Aamir Khan, the entire Khan family, David Dhawan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan to name a few, there were many who were conspicuous by their absence. Nevertheless, many of these stars sent their best wishes to the couple. In an interview to Lehren TV, Saif Ali Khan who has worked with Salman, wished Arpita and her groom all the best. He was quoted saying, "Arpita and the Khan family are like family. We wish them all the best and lots of love to them."

Mini Mathur, who is known to be close to Arpita, posed for the shutterbugs along with the beautiful bride. The television host, model and actress was there with her husband Kabir Khan who has worked with Salman in Ek Tha Tiger and is currently shooting Bajrangi Bhaijaan with him. The duo seemed to have a blast and Mini posed with the pretty bride, posting on her Twitter account, "The beautiful bride who had a wedding befitting a royal princess:)." [sic] Even director husband Kabir Khan took to the social media and posted on his Twitter profile, "At the historic Falaknuma palace for Arpita's grand wedding... :-)" [sic]

Celebrity fitness instructor Deanne Panday posed for the cameras with the beautiful bride and her Instagram account was filled with Arpita's wedding pictures. Wishing her well, Deanne posted on her account, "And she is Mrs Khan Sharma,blessings & unconditional love to my Api��❤️#wedding #blessing#love#arpita...Blessings to the newly weds ��#arpita #bride #mrskhansharma #married #love." Celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala was there throughout the celebrations at the royal Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad and the fitness freak looked like a million bucks herself. She posted this picture with the blushing bride Arpita on her Instagram account and posted, "The gorgeous bride. Love you arpitaskhan it was the perfect fairytale wedding... Magical" [sic]

Salman Khan was there to fulfill his brotherly duties towards his youngest sister and the doting brother-sister duo posed for cameras throughout. In an emotional speech, bride Arpita Khan Sharma even thanked her entire family and for Salman she said, "Salman bhai, though, has the biggest heart. For him, I can do no wrong. Everything I did, he was there to support me," as per a report in Bombay Times. Salman Khan being the perfect and gracious host, did not forget to thank his fans for all the blessings and wishes. He wrote on his Twitter account, "Thank u for all the blessings n good wishes . Vil tweet sm pics frm the wedding later . Arpita n ayush thank n appreciate it ." [sic]
