All you need to know about Preity Zinta’s husband Gene Goodenough

While Mrs. Funnybones (Twinkle Khanna) has caught the world by her witty jokes, Preity Zinta aka Mrs. Goodenough is spreading positivity all around with her daily inspiration. Just in case you haven’t noticed, the ‘Veer-Zaara’ actress shares inspirational quotes on Twitter on a regular basis spreading good vibes on the social networking website. Amidst a lot of speculation, Preity Zinta finally got married to her longtime-beau, Gene Goodenough on February 28, 2016. The couple tied the knot in a Hindu wedding ceremony in Los Angeles with an intimate gathering of family and very close friends. Reportedly, the couple will now host a grand party in Mumbai, for Preity’s friends from the industry.

Background

Gene Goodenough is based out of Los Angeles. He is a management graduate from Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles. Incidentally, popular reality TV star, Kim Kardashian’s brother, Rob Kardashian also happens to be an alumnus of the same business school. Well, given that Preity too has a good educational backing with a post graduate degree in criminal psychology, seems fitting that her partner too is a very well qualified professional.

Professional front

Gene is currently working with NLine Energy Inc., a renewable energy development company in LA, as the Senior Vice President in their Product & Finance department. Prior to that, Gene has also worked with the Bank of America as their Assistant Vice President and earlier as the the Vice President/Director of Product Management at Interthinx. Impressive, isn’t it!

First meeting Preity is a regular visitor to Los Angeles as her niece and nephew are put up there. On one of her visits a few years ago, the actress came across Gene and the two hit it off instantly. When they first started dating, the actress’ friends did not think the relationship had a future; they weren't even sure if the two were even remotely serious. Guess, the wedding came as a pleasant surprise for them!

Gene happens to be one of the key eye-witnesses to side with Preity when the actress lodged a molestation case against her ex, Ness Wadia for manhandling her at the Wankhede stadium a couple of years ago. Reportedly, Gene was the one to stop Ness at the time and shield Preity. While Goodenough was by her side all along, he is said to have been a little reluctant getting involved in legal battles. However, when Preity flew to LA to convince him, he agreed.
