Actors who refused to do love-making scenes

Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming drama, Fitoor is continuously marred with obstacles. First Rekha opted out of the film which forced the director to re-shoot all her portions and now Kapoor is facing trouble with his leading lady, Katrina Kaif. Reportedly, Abhishek was unhappy with the first rushes of a love-making scene between Katrina and Aditya Roy Kapur and decided to re-shoot the sequence. However, Katrina was not, in the least bit, happy about this, a source was quoted in BollywoodLife's report. While the source justified Abhishek’s case saying that it was normal for directors to re-shoot portions they didn’t particularly like, he (the source) also sided with Kat saying that intimate scenes are anyways hard to do and re-shooting them is a big pain. Naturally the actress was miffed with the director until she was finally calmed down by the producers.

Mahira Khan
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has made his mark in Bollywood with his roles in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick, Badlapur and Gangs Of Wasseypur. However, there is an actress who apparently refused to do a love-making scene with the actor. She is none other than Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan, who is making her big Bollywood debut with Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan. According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, the actress apparently got the jitters while shooting for an intimate scene with Nawaz. Quoting a source, the report stated that the sex scene is pretty edgy, dark and somewhat brutal which has Nawaz forcing himself on her. The report further stated that the sequence was unsettling for Mahira and she refused to do it.

Fawad Khan
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, keeping his countrymen's sensibilities in mind, Fawad Khan has asked the makers of his next film to tone down an intimate scene between him and Alia Bhatt. According to the report, the film, that also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Kapoor, has scenes where Fawad and Alia might have to get intimate. But a source has been quoted in the report as saying that "Fawad is not comfortable with the idea of getting physical in reel life. Even in his TV shows, Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which are romantic family dramas, there's no kissing or touching involved. The sex is implied. Fawad is extremely sensitive to the sensibilities of his conservative countrymen and has told Shakun and Karan to water down the scene, to rely on allusion rather than actual action."

John Abraham
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, John Abraham is wary of locking lips with his Welcome Back co-star, Shruti Haasan, with whom he is teaming up for the first time. "A fresh jodi takes time to develop a comfort level. John did not want any kissing or steamy scenes so we have settled for a romantic song," reasons the film's director, Anees Bazmee. The song is yet to be shot and will not have any intimate scenes. Ah well, seems like the actor who was ready to go bottoms up in Dostana, has now turned into a sober family man.

Ali Zafar
According to a PTI report, Ali has a 'no kissing clause' in his contract for when he does Bollywood films. "I have a clause that I won't be kissing on screen. In London Paris New York, kissing was essential to the film and so they got a body double to do it. I obviously think about what people are going to feel like back home in Pakistan and about what they are going to think," he said.

Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor, who recently tied the knot with Mira Rajput in Delhi, too, might self impose restrictions on himself while doing films. According to a report on BollywoodLife.com, Shahid may add a ‘no kissing’ clause in his contract post-marriage so as to not make his wife uncomfortable. The Vivah actor may now refrain from doing any intimate scenes or locking lips on-screen. He may join the likes of Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan, who have refrained from kissing and doing steamy scenes in films, the report further added.

Sonakshi Sinha
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Sonakshi has a 'no kissing,’ ‘no bikini scenes' clause in her contract. Sonakshi has confirmed the news and said, " Yes, I am not comfortable kissing or exposing and I believe in laying open my cards well in advance so that no one is inconvenienced. Till date, I have been very specific about certain things and my directors have always understood my concerns and played along. I don't think this should pose a problem in the future as well. And if a director wants something like that, he is open to casting other actresses."
