Actors and their innovative workouts

As they say, Bollywood is show business; what shows, sells! No wonder, our very own B-town actors have to be on their toes all the time as far as their fitness and looks are concerned. They cannot afford to have a no-workout day or cheat on their diet as and when they want. After all, looks and talent go hand-in-hand in Bollywood or should we say, looks supersede talent? Tiger Shroff

Do we need to say anything about Tiger Shroff who has, by now, proved that he is a super hero in disguise? The actor, after impressing one and all with his gravity-defying stunts in his Bollywood debut, 'Heropanti', is all set to take the audience on a yet another action-packed ride with his next, 'Baaghi'. The kind of fitness and physique he proudly owns, are something most of the actors can only dream of. In fact, Tiger is said to be so passionate about working out and maintaining his physique that he hits the gym regularly without a single break. He also plays football and practices kickboxing and gymnastics to maintain his enviably chiselled physique!

Karan Singh Grover

The handsome hunk might be busy ensuring his marriage to Bipasha Basu happens to be one of the most-talked-about B-town weddings ever, but that hasn't deterred Karan from hitting the gym. The actor has always maintained that nothing under the sun can keep him away from his workout. The soon-to-be-groom makes sure he makes time to hit the gym, come what may! Karan would compromise on his sleep to ensure he makes time to do his workout. He streams on several fitness videos on YouTube, and later creates his own Boot camp and does the training, no matter if he's is at the shoot or at home.

Richa Chadda

Richa knows how to enthrall the audience with her bold, vivacious and audacious on-screen avatars and her next two diametrically opposite films, 'Sarbjit' and 'Cabaret' are testimony to that. The critically-acclaimed actor, who is a fitness freak, started learning Kalaripayattu for a play in 2014. Since then, this traditional Martial Art form has been an inseparable part of her workout regime which also includes jogging and Yoga.

Taapsee Pannu

For all those who thought that she was only good at romancing her handsome co-stars got the shock of their lives to see Taapsee indulge in some unbelievable action in 'Baby' and throw some impressive punches and kicks at actor Sushant Singh. The 'Chashme Baddoor' actor was introduced to Krav Maga, which helped her prepare for all the stunts scenes she performed in 'Baby'. She extremely enjoyed learning those tricks to which, we recently heard, that she is still sticking on to remain fit and fabulous.

Purab Kohli

After Akshay Kumar, who loves practicing Parkour to maintain his enviable fitness level, his 'Airlift' co-star Purab Kohli recently took to practicing the art to maintain his body. Purab feels that Parkour teaches us physical discipline, to respect the environment and development of the body. Although Parkour requires a lot of physical hard work, the actor is extremely determined to ensure that Parkour continues to be a part of his disciplined work-out regime.
