Ali Zafar has gifted a four-bed room villa in Lahore, spread over 15,000 square feet, to his wife Ayesha.It was earlier reported that Ayesha had given birth to their daughter, Alyza, and the dream house is the actor's return gift to his better half. "It's been under construction for over three years. We've just moved in a few months back. Ayesha was really touched by the gift and has done the interiors herself with a little bit of help from me. We've kept the décor modern, classy and minimal. We have installed music systems which will play all the time," Ali said. The villa has an indoor swimming pool bang in the centre. Every room has an attached terrace and a view to the pool. And the basement has been converted into Ali's recording studio. "I come from a modest background. My parents were professors and we used to live with my grandparents in a small room. So, like everyone else, I have been wishing for a house like this for a long time and been working hard towards it," added Ali.

The report quoted a source as saying that Hrithik decided to move out of his parents’ house after his divorce and shift to a flat on the third floor in Prime Beach, Juhu. Further quoting the source, the report stated that the actor didn't get a chance to stay there, as he was busy shooting for Mohenjo Daro in Gujarat. Reportedly, it was only last week that the actor moved in and is staying alone. The actor, who has been preparing to play India's cricket captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in Neeraj Pandey's biopic, now plans to live life king size too, the report stated. Further to the report, he will move into a sprawling penthouse in Bandra's Pali Hill which he has bought for a whopping Rs 20 crore. The 29-year-old actor currently lives with his girlfriend, former television actress Ankita Lokhande in a 2-BHK in Malad. "When I first moved to Mumbai from Delhi, I was living with six roommates in a one room-kitchen apartment. I always dreamed of owning a penthouse in the city and have worked really hard to achieve this dream. On November 11, 2013, I moved into my Malad home. Now, I am excited about the next change," Sushant was quoted in the report. The actor has plans for the interiors too. He stays up late every night, watching movies and listening to music. "So, the home will be equipped with an indoor theatre and surround sound," the report quoted a source. "He is also an avid reader and will have a full wall for his books, right up to the ceiling. The superstar has expressed "shock" after finding graffiti painted on the walls of his house, Mannat, in Bandra locality here. The 49-year-old actor took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share his disappointment over the act and wrote, "U can't leave ur house for a day without sum one messing with it!! Shocked." [sic] Photographs of the graffiti done by some yet unidentified fans have been doing the rounds on social media on Wednesday (July 8, 2015). The walls of the Don actor's four-storeyed house were painted with messages like, “love you SRK” and “c u 15th”, and it was signed with the name, Gaurav.

Khoobsurat actress Sonam Kapoor was recently in the news for buying a property in a posh Bandra locality. However, what never made it to the news is that the new abode costs a whopping Rs 35 crore, reports Indiaglitz.com. A person directly involved in the deal was quoted in the report as saying that Sonam's new house is in the Signature Island Property in BKC. It is a 7,000 sq ft duplex flat. The deal values the place at around Rs 50,000 per sq ft. The report further stated that billionaire and banker Uday Kotak has bought a 11,000 sq. ft apartment a few months ago at the same place.

Sonam Kapoor is now gearing up to move out of her family home in Juhu. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Sonam has bought a plush duplex apartment in Bandra-Kurla Complex. It's a 7000-sq feet pad spread across the 3rd and 4th floors. A source close to the property dealer has been quoted in the report as saying that the purchase is not an investment and that the actress plans to live there. She has got possession but she will only move in after the interiors are ready. Kavita Singh, her mother, Sunita Kapoor's sister, will start on the interiors this week. The source adds, "Her aunt, Kavita, is a well-known interior designer. Sonam too is taking a keen interest in the designing of her new home. Everything will be designed according to her tastes and interests."

The first superstar of Bollywood, the late Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow was acquired by Mangalurean Shashi Kiran Shetty in August 2014. The iconic sea-facing property will now be demolished to make way for a multi-storey building, a report stated.

The new owner plans to build a three or four-storey building on the 6,500 square-foot property. “We've to redevelop the property since the existing structure is more than 50 years old. The process will start in a couple of months,” said Shetty, executive chairperson of Allcargo Logistics, part of Avvashya Group.

Shetty further stated, “The actor's family probably wanted to screen prospective buyers. I was looking for a property, and this one suited my budget. The deal was done directly with the family with a property consultant. The family was gracious during the process.”

Confirming this, Madhu Poplai, secretary of the Pali Hill Residents' Association, said to Mirror, "This iconic structure earlier belonged to the late actor Amjad Khan and then was sold to Riteish Deshmukh. Riteish wanted to start some commercial activity in the bungalow but was not allowed to do so. So he has now sold it to a businessman." When the tabloid contacted Riteish's spokesperson, he denied saying, "Riteish purchased the property as an investment and later diluted it. He never intended to use it for a commercial venture."
