Monday night saw a host of B-town celebrities making their way to industrialist Mukesh Ambani's mansion in Altamount road. Mukesh and wife Nita hosted a grand party for their son Akash and his fiancee Shloka Mehta, the daughter of diamond magnate Russel Mehta.

While the soiree was attended by many stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar as well as cricketers Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh, one invitee whose presence took many by surprise was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

If reports are to be believed, it was Nita Ambani who specifically invited Aaradhya to the party. When she called to personally invite Aishwarya, Nita allegedly requested the actress to get Aaradhya along too as a small ballet was being presented by some young children at the party. She apparently wanted Aaradhya to enjoy the ballet as the child’s school was closed anyway for spring.

For the uninitiated, Nita is the Founder and Chairperson of the school Aaradhya goes to. As per reports, Mukesh’s mother Kokilaben is extremely fond of Aaradhya and always treats her with toffees and candies whenever they meet.
