Bollywood actress
Shraddha Kapoor, who has always kept her love life private, made her first public appearance with her rumoured boyfriend and writer Rahul Mody. They were spotted by the paparazzi in Jamnagar where they were attending the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The duo was also snapped at a private airport in Mumbai before leaving for the extravaganza event.
The rumours of Shraddha dating Rahul have been going around for months, but the couple never addressed the speculation. In 2023, the couple was first spotted together after their dinner date, but reportedly they were ‘shocked’ at being photographed together. “They want to have a private affair, and not fret about going public with the relationship,” a source told Hindustan Times. But it seems like they aren’t bothered now by being clicked together.
For the unversed, Rahul is a writer and has worked for films like Luv Ranjan’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and even Shraddha and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’. Reportedly, the couple met on the sets of the film for the first time and soon their friendship turned into love. In 2022, Shraddha broke off and parted ways with photographer Rohan Shrestha, but things changed when she met Rahul.
Rahul, who was born and brought up in Mumbai, studied at the Whistling Woods International Institute. He interned on the sets of Luv Ranjan’s film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ in 2011 and worked as an associate director on projects, like ‘Akaash Vani’. Initially, Rahul was supposed to join his father Amod’s family business. However, Bollywood Life reported that he inclined towards filmmaking when he watched the shooting of the song ‘Marjani’ from ‘Billu Barber’, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
