It feels like a little time capsule from when the world came to a stop and home was the only place that mattered. That vision of life inside gave
Anil Kapoor a fun and easy way to pass the time. He didn't want to cook or do anything creative, so he selected something easy and comfortable, like playing carrom with his wife, Sunita Kapoor. The actor shared short videos of their match on social media, which gave fans a wonderful glimpse at what they did at home.
Family time, carrom, and competition
As per India Today, Anil posted images from the game and jokingly announced the winner. He said, "And the winner is... Me (obviously)!" He also thanked the folks who took the pictures, stating they were Sunita and their daughter Rhea Kapoor.
One picture showed Anil getting ready to shoot the queen, while another picture, shot from behind him, showed both Anil and Sunita leaning in and paying close attention. Later, Rhea posted the incident again on her Instagram Stories and said, "Quarantine scenes @anilskapoor @kapoor.sunita," which went well with the relaxed mood of the day.
At the time, Anil was home alone in Mumbai with Sunita and Rhea. Sonam Kapoor, his oldest daughter, lived in Delhi with her husband, Anand Ahuja.
Keeping occupied and in touch throughout the lockdown
Because of the lockdown, Sonam and Anand had to celebrate their second wedding anniversary at home.
Even when the shots were on hold, Anil was still there. He did films to raise awareness about COVID-19, and he talked to friends and coworkers through video calls. The actor also kept up with his fitness routine by working out in his home gym, playing carrom, and spending time online.
