When Raveena Tandon revealed about her ‘friendly rivalry’ with Govinda

Raveena Tandon and Govinda were one of the most loved on-screen couples from the 90s. Their collaboration has resulted in films like ‘Dulhe Raja’, ‘Akhiyon Se Goli Maare’, and ‘Aunty No. 1’. Did you know that Raveena Tandon once had a ‘friendly rivalry’ with her co-star Govinda? Yes, that’s right. Raveena Tandon has once revealed that she had healthy competitions with Govinda, and their dance collaborations too were ‘lightning fast’.

In an earlier interview, Raveena revealed that they completed ‘Kahi Disco Main Jaye’ in just one and a half days and ‘Akhiyon Se Goli Maare’ in a single day. She divulged that they would start shooting early in the morning at 9:30-10:00 am and wrap up by 6:00 pm.

Elaborating further on her ‘friendly rivalry’ she spoke about how they thrived to give their best. “Our chemistry was pure magic, fueled by our energy and a sprinkle of healthy competition,” she said.

Speaking to ANI earlier, Raveena Tandon called Govinda her BFF, “I’ve got a bunch of amazing friends in the industry, from the enchanting Madhuri Dixit to the ever-graceful Shilpa Shetty, and the unforgettable Sridevi. But if I had to pick one ride-or-die, it would have to be the one and only Govinda, lovingly known as Chi Chi. We’ve always shared a deep love for music and dancing. My comic timing improved significantly because of Govinda.”
