When Ananya Panday shared a childhood Holi photograph back in 2021, the internet instantly embraced the nostalgia. The actor posted an old picture featuring two of her closest friends, Shanaya Kapoor and Suhana Khan, both covered in bright red gulal. The image captured the purity of childhood friendships and the carefree energy of Holi.




Ananya wrote, “Happy Holi! My best Holi memories are with these two! Major missing stay safe everyone!!!!! Love and light and colour and joy and positivity always.”

The post instantly became a social media favourite and quickly gained traction amassing over four lakh likes soon after it was posted. Fans loved how adorable the trio looked in the old photograph.

The post also drew reactions from several well-known industry figures. Actor Sanjay Kapoor, Shanaya’s father, left a string of heart emojis. Her mother, Maheep Kapoor, commented, “Awwww my babies.” Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan Kunder added, “Dolls!!”, along with a heart emoji. Their reactions showed how deeply the industry cherishes the bond shared by the three young women.

Panday added, “I want to get as colourful and messy as possible,” showing her love for the aesthetically chaotic spirit of the festival. She also mentioned that her traditional Holi outfits often come from a designer's wardrobe. The 'Call Me Bae' actor revealed she keeps them for “memory purposes,” as they remind her of the joy attached to each celebration.

Additionally, Shanaya Kapoor has one more project in her kitty titled 'Jacob Cardoso,' where she will star alongside Abhay Verma of 'Munjiya' fame.
