Soon after he returned to Mumbai, completing the first schedule of
Binoy Gandhi's Ghudchadhi with
Raveena Tandon, Parth Samthan and
Khushalii Kumar,
Sanjay Dutt is back to where he truly belongs. Two years after he was detected and cured of lung cancer, the actor is back to the bay - his gym. He has begun to sweat it out, with full-blown workout schedules including weight training and cardio exercises.
"In the valley of death only god I fear, happy to be back in the place I belong my gym my den, never give in," he posted on his social media handle this morning.
A source close to the star told BT that Sanjay, who is also planning to roll out a couple of films this year as a producer, starting with Ghudchadi (co-produced by Nidhi Dutta), is hell bent on keeping up with his fitness goals. "Being healthy has naturally become an integral part of Sanjay's life. He has a carefully chalked out plan which includes eating right and a few hours of badminton every week along with his daily workout schedules in the gym. Weight training and core exercises are important for him as a part of his prep for his next projects as an actor, which are all expected to roll out soon. He has to look a certain way and be a certain size to appear believable playing the characters. His nutritionist and he have also tailored a meal plan based on his preferences which ensures he is eating right while he's taking one step at a time to achieve the goals he has set for his body. Additionally, Sanjay plays badminton a few times every week, which ensures an improved metabolic rate and heart function."
