Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had quite the start to the New Year 2026 while holidaying in Dubai, and the photos are taking social media by storm.

The couple, who have been maintaining a rather low-key private life these past months, have been winning hearts online, with their fresh photos from their celebrations. In the pics going viral, the couple was seen putting on their best smiles as they posed with hotel staff.




Virat and Anushka spotted in Dubai

The images, were from their outing on Wednesday, during what appears to be a relaxed outing in the city. Virat and Anushka were reportedly dining at an upscale Indian restaurant in Dubai when they were approached for photos.

For their outing, the couple kept things casual. While Virat opted for a T-shirt paired with cargo pants, Anushka stunned in an all-denim look. Photos from their date quickly spread across fan pages, with fans gushing over the star couple for their down-to-earth behaviour.

Earlier pictures from the couple’s New Year's festivities had already set the internet ablaze. Virat shared photos of himself and Anushka, tapping into their playful side, sporting face paint inspired by Spider-Man and a butterfly, respectively, as they rang in 2026. The duo later switched gears and opted for something glamorous as they rang in the New Year with friends. Taking to his handle, Virat shared the photos where he could be seen looking sharp in a tailored suit, while Anushka turned heads in a little black dress with feather detailing.

Anushka to make her return

These photos come at a time when Virat and Anushka have actively been avoiding the media glare. The couple reportedly shifted base to London to raise their two children, Vamika and Akaay. While Virat has been seen obliging fans with photos while heading to his practice sessions in and around London, Anushka has been spotted on rare occasions while heading out to coffee shops.

With all these spottings over the past month, fans can only speculate if this is an indicator that the actress will soon be making her Bollywood return
