When it wasn't photos of Priyanka Chopra smoking on a yacht that had the online world buzzing, it was Shah Rukh Khan's vacation photos with the family and Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor's reunion that caught the top trends on social media.

Priyanka Chopra is a global icon who lends her star power to back several initiatives all over the globe. One of them had her announcing to the world that she suffered from asthma. While there is nothing wrong about celebs backing good causes, social media was up in arms against the star when images of her puffing away on a cigarette turned up online. Fans and social media trolls took jibes at the actress by pointing out the thing (cigarette) in her hand was nowhere close to an asthma pump.

Lucky for the actress, she seemingly missed all the flack as she was on a break from social media at the time.

Looks like actor Shah Rukh Khan and his family had a great time vacationing in the Maldives. Given his hectic schedule, it is not often to spot the family together. However, Shah Rukh managed to take out some time to unwind with his family and he later shared a few photos for all his fans to see.

Apart from giving a glimpse of himself and his kids, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam unwinding with various fun activities, the actor also shared a selfie with his 'perfect wife' Gauri Khan.

Alia Bhatt is getting a chance to spend quality time with her family while shooting in Ooty, for her father, Mahesh Bhatt's 'Sadak 2'.

The actress took to Instagram to share a post-card worthy photograph with her mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt that spells "a whole lotta love."

She later also posted a photo of herself enjoying some downtime on a swing.

'Sadak 2', that scheduled to release on July 10, 2020, is a sequel to the hit 1991 romantic thriller, which featured Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt.

Another week in Bollywood came along with a good dose of cuteness from the Chote Nawab - Taimur Ali Khan and cousin Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. The lovable cousins were collectively melting hearts on social media with their adorable antics on a play date in London with their parents. The cuties are spending a couple of months in the British capital, soaking in the sights and sounds of the place.

One of Bollywood's most loved on-screen couples, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor had fans rooting for their big-screen reunion when they were spotted post a meeting with director Luv Ranjan at his office.

There were reports which stated that DP will be on board for the film which also stars Ajay Devgn. According to reports, the film that will start rolling at the end of the year will reportedly see Ajay playing the role of RK's father.

Karan Johar will be back with another remake, this time, he will be producing the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda's 'Dear Comrade' that released on July 26. Sharing photos with the lead star, the filmmaker said, "Had the pleasure to be the first to see 'Dear Comrade'. What a powerful and intense love story! Top-notch performances by Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is exceptionally moving and leaves you with such an important and relevant message."

After the photos and news went viral, many urged the producer to cast Shahid Kapoor in the lead, following the success of 'Kabir Singh', that was also a remake of Deverakonda's 'Arjun Reddy'.

However, Karan later clarified that no lead actors have been cast for the remake.
