Vikrant Massey opens up on his bond with Taapsee Pannu, reveals she was amongst the first few to bless his son

After dating for many years, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur got engaged in November 2019. They marked their union with an intimate wedding ceremony at their Mumbai residence three years later. Last year, the couple shared the news of their impending parenthood, and in February, they welcomed their baby boy, Vardaan.


Vikrant, who has worked with Taapsee Pannu in the past, recently opened up on his bond with her and said that she was among the first few colleagues, who came to visit and bless his son. The 12th Fail actor told News18 Showsha. “It was a Sunday and she drove all the way to my home. That was really wonderful," he adds. He added, “There’s no one on this earth who can bully Taapsee. Jokes aside, she’s genuinely sweet and kind."

On the other hand, Vikrant Massey’s 2023 film '12th Fail' received high praise from both critics and audiences. Taapsee Pannu recently shared that she took Vikrant’s success very personally. The actress mentioned that she had sent him a heartfelt message to convey her happiness for his achievement.



In a recent interview with Fever FM, Taapsee Pannu confirmed that she had indeed watched Vikrant Massey’s acclaimed film 12th Fail. Although she was occupied with shooting 'Khel Khel Mein' in London and saw the film a bit later, she stayed updated on his work. After returning to India and hearing about the film’s success, Taapsee reached out to Vikrant. She shared that she sent him a message, letting him know that his success felt "personal" to her.
Taapsee mentioned that she had observed Massey’s consistent excellence over time. Although she wasn’t initially aware of the film’s box office performance, the success felt like a personal achievement to her. Pannu added that she told Vikrant, even though she hadn’t watched '12th Fail' at the time, she was genuinely thrilled for him.


Pannu noted that when she eventually watched '12th Fail', she understood the excitement surrounding the film. She commented that she never doubted Vikrant Massey’s talent but was pleased to see him receive the validation he deserved through the film’s success. Taapsee concluded by expressing her happiness for Vikrant, acknowledging how much such recognition means to an actor.
