Twitterati can’t stop comparing Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s 'A Star Is Born' with 'Aashiqui 2'

The trailer of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s film ‘A Star Is Born’ released yesterday. And it was soon after it’s release that Indian Bollywood buffs noticed an uncanny resemblance between Cooper’s film and Aditya Roy Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Aashiqui 2’. ‘A Star Is Born’ comes across as a film where a degrading commercial singer meets a rising singer and later ensures her becoming a superstar. In the process, he goes on a decline. ‘Aashiqui 2’ had exactly the same storyline with a tragic ending. Interestingly, ‘Aashiqui 2’ itself is a remake of 1976 film ‘A Star Is Born’ and this Bradley Cooper starrer is the fourth remake of the film.Here’s how Twitterati reacted:
