Throwback: Ranbir Kapoor disliked Deepika Padukone's flirtatious nature, actress said "There are more things I don’t like than like about him"
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who dated for two years before calling it quits in 2009, openly discussed their relationship, subsequent breakup, and eventual friendship without hesitation during the promotion of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Tamasha’. Eleven years have passed since the release of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, and later this year, it will mark nine years since ‘Tamasha’ hit the screens. Fans frequently revisit old interviews and discussions from both times. During one such interview, the actors candidly revealed aspects about each other that they found unlikable.
During an interview with Bombay Times in 2015, when Ranbir was questioned to list the things about Deepika that he didn't like. The ‘Animal’ actor revealed that he didn’t like that she was a flirt. He said, “That she is a flirt. That she is working too much and should not burn herself out. She should take more holidays and breaks and should reserve herself, which she has started doing now.”
Deepika responded to the same question by saying, “There are more things I don’t like than like about him. I like that he is very, very respectful towards people. He is also someone who does not get visibly affected by people and by situations. He is someone who can detach.”
Ranbir and Deepika are now married and have moved on. While Ranbir and Alia Bhatt are married and have a daughter together, Deepika is expecting her first child with her actor-husband Ranveer Singh.
