Apko aur apke Parivar ko Holi ki shubhkamnaye. Have a safe Holi!” The visual aesthetic of the post carried a cultural nod to Lord Krishna, whose association with colours and festivity forms a core part of Holi traditions across India.

Reunion with Priyadarshan after 14 years

Their past collaborations have produced some of Hindi cinema’s most successful comedies, and the nostalgia surrounding their comeback has already boosted audience expectations. Akshay Kumar and co-star Wamiqa Gabbi have begun nationwide promotions.

A haunted mansion and a star-studded cast

'Bhooth Bangla' unfolds in a mysterious haunted mansion where the characters face supernatural events. The cast also has Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

Akshay Kumar walks with a ‘Headless man’

During a promotional event, Akshay Kumar shared a quirky video that quickly went viral. In the clip, he walks beside a person dressed as a headless man, a playful nod to the film’s supernatural theme. While strolling down a street, the actor asks, “Ek baat bata, yeh bhoot voot hote hai kya?” (Can I ask you something? Are there really ghosts?) The man responds humorously:

“Pata nahi sir, jabse mein paida hua hu, meri maa bolti thi mera baap bhoot hai. Fir mera baap bolta tha meri maa bhootni hai. Lekin mene aisa kuch dekha hi nahi sir. Yeh sab afwayein hai sir, aap inn sab me vishwas mat karo.” (“I don’t know, sir. Ever since I was born, my mother used to say my father is a ghost. Then my father would say my mother is a female ghost. But I’ve never actually seen anything like that, sir. These are all just rumors, sir. You shouldn’t believe in such things.”)

The film is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, 2026.
