If Govinda had to to rate his fans, he would definitely have rated Ranveer Singh as his Fan No. 1. The latter has always proclaimed to be a huge, huge fan of the senior actor. He even reportedly danced to Govinda's popular songs like 'Mera Pant Bhi Sexy' ('Dulara') at his baaraat.
Wondering what the senior star has to say about the adulation from his junior? Govinda reportedly told a daily that Ranveer even has his picture on his DP.He recalled the time the younger star shocked him by performing some of his songs and scenes in front of him when they worked together in 'Kill Dil'.
Govinda is all praise for Ranveer, who he believes is genuine as a person, which also reflects in his style of acting. He also calls him a daring person in his choices - be it films or fashion. The senior actor is impressed with the films his star fan has done. He reportedly said that in his 33-year of career, he has never been able to get one film on the scale and grandeur as 'Padmaavat', nor worked with A-lister filmmaker. He also quipped that he didn't do a big ticket film even when he got the chance to do it.
Govinda also shared that his favourite actresses from the younger generation were Deepika Padukone and Vidya Balan as they are natural performers.
