‘The Zoya Factor’: Five reasons to watch the Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer

After impressing her fans with her stunning performance in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to mesmerise her audience once again with her upcoming film, ‘The Zoya Factor’. The makers have created quite a buzz in the industry about the film with their unique promotional strategies. As the film is all set to hit the theatres on September 20, 2019, here we give you reasons as to why you shouldn’t miss watching this quirky romantic drama.

Fresh pairing

Abhishek Sharma’s ‘The Zoya Factor’ brings together Bollywood Diva Sonam Kapoor and South heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan for the first time. This will be Dulquer’s second film in Bollywood after ‘Kaarwaan’ starring Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar.

While the trailer and the romantic tracks already bear witness to the sizzling chemistry between the two good-looking stars, Sonam had also, in an interview, said that it was a delight to romance him. Given that both the actors are talented and have quite a fan following, it would be an absolute treat to watch them together on screen.

3/6

Inspired by a novel

Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming starrer ‘The Zoya Factor’ is the screen adaptation of a novel by the same name. The film has been adapted from Anuja Chauhan’s book. Published in 2008, the story of the novel revolves around a character named Zoya Singh Solanki, an executive in an advertising agency.

Chauhan’s novel, over the years, has acquired quite a fan following among readers and it has also seen many screen adaptations.

Cricketers are all praise

As soon as the trailer of ‘The Zoya Factor’ released, fans and celebrities from all quarters heaped praise on the Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer. Not only that, but the trailer also attracted the attention of many Indian cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya. So much so that, they just couldn’t stop themselves from appreciating the film on the social media.

While Virendra Sehwag found the trailer fun, KL Rahul found the film to be a roller-coaster ride of luck and hard work. Sachin Tendulkar, on the other hand, gave his best wishes to Sonam and Dulquer.

5/6

Bollywood in full support

Ever since the trailer of the Abhishek Sharma directorial has come out, there has been a huge buzz concerning the quirky subject of the film. The film, which deals with all the luck and charm in the game of cricket, has intrigued both the Bollywood and cricket celebrities.

Apart from heaping praise on the Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer, the Bollywood celebs also revealed about their take on luck and charm in a video on the social media.

6/6

High on romance

The romantic angle of the film is certainly one of the highlights of the film. It would be after a very long time that Bollywood will be seeing a romantic film at that. Rising above the clutter of action, drama and period films, ‘The Zoya Factor’ will indeed be a breather that many movie buffs out there are desperately looking for.
