'The little girl that never stopped dreaming': Athiya Shetty cheers 'Border 2' producer Nidhi Dutta
Almost 30 years later 'Border 2' comes with the same emotion but for a new generation. Athiya Shetty has now shared her support for the producer Nidhi Dutta.
Nidhi Dutta’s emotional throwback post
Just before the release, writer and producer Nidhi Dutta shared a very personal post on Instagram. She posted a throwback picture from the sets of Border (1997). In her message she spoke about dreams, memories, and how that one moment on set changed her life.
Athiya Shetty’s heartfelt shoutout
Among those touched by Nidhi’s post was Athiya Shetty. On the film’s release day Athiya reposted Nidhi’s message on her Instagram story. She added a short but very emotional note. Athiya wrote, “The little girl that never stopped dreaming. Sitara will be so proud. Go Mama.”
This simple message caught a lot of attention online. Many felt it showed how special this film is for Nidhi Dutta and its is not just as a producer but as the daughter of J.P. Dutta who made the original 'Border'.
