The ghost who rocked!
Yes thats Sonu Sood in his superhit Telugu film Arundathi which went on to break all records in Tollywood and is on the list of many hotshot directors of Bollywood, who want to remake the film in Hindi.
The gruelling four to five-hour long make-up sessions everyday and 260 days of shooting to portray the role of an evil spirit, has finally paid off for Sonu as the films running houseful down South.
1x1 polls

Sonu whos already reeling under the success of Jodhaa Akbar, Singh is Kinng and praise for Ek Vivaah Aisi Bhi, thinks its the best thing to have happened to him. It cant get bigger than this, especially for a North Indian like me who went on to give a superhit film down South and that too as the solo lead actor, said an elated Sonu, who has become one of the most sought after actors in Tollywood.
My character Pasupati in the film is a very complex one and it was a challenge to play the role. But I think, Ive managed to do justice to it, said the actor from Dubai where he is shooting for his first international project City of Life in which he plays a taxi driver and is cast opposite German actress Alexandra Maria Lara who was seen in Francis Ford Coppolas Youth Without Youth.
Theres also Natalie Dormer who worked opposite Heath Ledger in Casanova and also the series Tudors, and theres the Iraqi hip hop star The Narcicyst in the film. The entire cast and crew is international. Its a multi-lingual film which will in English, Arabic and Hindi, informed Sonu, who is also looking forward to his next Hindi release Dhoondte Reh Jaoge with Soha Ali Khan which will hit the theatres soon.
