Tamannaah Bhatia: Diana Penty is an underrated actor

Tamannaah Bhatia, who is currently seen along with Diana Penty in her latest show Do You Wanna Partner, believes the Cocktail actress is extremely underrated. “Diana is an extremely underrated actor. I truly believe that the show will set the tone for a completely new phase in her career. I’m very excited for her because I know the kind of love she’s going to get for this show. She’s truly outdone herself in this,” Tamannaah tells Mumbai Mirror.

The actress believes India doesn’t have much female friendship displayed on the celluloid. She adds, “We are both playing very different kind of women in the show. It was very interesting to explore friendship and a professional environment on the show. I feel people are going to really enjoy seeing female friendships, which I don’t think are shown enough on screen.”


The series directed by Colin Dcunha and Archint Kumar, also stars Tamannaah Bhatia along with Shweta Tiwari, Nakuul Mehta, Javed Jaffery and others in pivotal roles.

Tamannaah Bhatia has carved a versatile space for herself across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, building a career that balances mainstream blockbusters with offbeat choices. She made her debut at 15 with Chand Sa Roshan Chehra (2005) but found early success in the South with films like Happy Days (2007) and Kalloori (2007). Recently, she’s impressed in OTT projects like Jee Karda and Aakhri Sach, showcasing her adaptability in the digital era.
