Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager Disha Salian's death case: Details revealed after her demise

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14 has shocked the nation. Days before the actor’s death, his ex-manager Disha Salian had passed away. Mourning the loss of his ex-manager, Sushant had posted on June 10, “It’s such a devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha’s family and friends. May your soul rest in peace”. After Sushant’s demise, there have been several reports connecting his death to that of Disha Salian. Here’s taking a look at the details that were revealed after Disha’s demise on the night of June 8.

Several rumours involving Sooraj Pancholi had also cropped up, indirectly blaming the actor for the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian. Reacting to the same, Sooraj had clarified to BT, “I don’t even know who Disha is, I have never met her in my life. I found out about her after Sushant’s death, and I feel bad for the families involved. Someone has written this rubbish on their personal Facebook page, made it into a movie script and put it out there.” Sooraj recently filed a complaint at the Versova Police Station alleging harassment by those who carry unverified news reports that link him to Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput’s deaths without any evidence.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh had filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, wherein he had also mentioned about Disha Salian. Mumbai Mirror quoted KK Singh’s FIR, “On 8/9-6-2020 Disha – whom Rhea herself had appointed as Sushant’s manager on a temporary basis—committed suicide. My son got scared and he tried to contact Rhea. He was worried that he will be framed in the matter. My daughter reached Sushant and stayed with him for three or four days counseled him, and left for her home. My son killed himself on 14-06-2020.” This was one of the initial mentions that connected Disha and Sushant’s deaths.

The Mumbai police recently clarified that Disha Salian’s body was not discovered unclothed. IANS quoted Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 11, Vishal Thakur, “This is to clarify that the reports of Disha Salian's body being found naked are false.” It was also reported that after the incident, the police had rushed to the spot and done a 'panchnama' in the presence of Disha’s parents.

Before Disha passed away, she had not called Sushant Singh Rajput, but one of her friends, the Mumbai police had revealed. ANI quoted Vishal Thakur, DCP Zone-11, “Disha had made last call to her friend Ankita whose statement has been recorded. Statements of 20-25 people recorded so far.” Disha’s friend’s statement was recorded and Timesofindia.com quoted a senior officer, “Two work-related deals had not gone in her favour. In fact, one of the deals was taken away from her and handed over to a colleague. Her friend tried to console her and also spoke to others at the party, telling them to look after Salian.”
