Siddharth Roy Kapoor's killer dance moves

Late Tuesday, the cast and crew of two National Award-winning films, Hansal Mehta’s 'Shahid' and Anand Gandhi’s 'Ship of Theseus', gathered at a Bandra watering hole to celebrate the honours. The party began at 10 pm and continued till 2 am, with everybody from Shahid’s leading man, Rajkummar Rao, to SoT’s presenter, Kiran Rao, dancing to the tunes of 'Tune Mari Entriyan', 'Lungi Dance' and 'Besharmi Ki Heights'.

“It’s ironical that we’re celebrating the success of two Indie films with chartbusters from masala movies,” Anand laughed, adding that his next installment, the Sohum Shah-starring Tumbaad will make its way to the theatres only in 2015. He brought his 79-year-old grandma along who was seen cheering his moves sitting at one corner.
Rajkummar arrived at the stroke of midnight and hit the dance floor as soon as the DJ turned the London Thumkada track and ladylove and Citylights co-star Patralekkha kept him company. But the show stealer of the evening was Sidharth Roy Kapoor. The Disney MD’s enthusiastic dancing took everyone by surprise. As soon as Rowdy Rathore’s Chinta Ta Ta came on, Vidya Balan’s husband hijacked the dance floor with killer moves that would have given the film’s director-cum-choreographer Prabhu Dheva a run for his money. “Now if only Vidya was here to catch Sid go ballistic like this,” laughed a guest.
