Shivangi Verma: The South industry is rooted and disciplined, while Mumbai is fast-paced
Shivangi Verma, who was seen in the Tamil film Pichaikkaran 2, Hindi shows like Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor and Choti Sarrdaarni, and the web series Yeh Hai Sanak, recently featured in the song Bombe Bombe from the Kannada film Terror.
Speaking about her experience of working with the film’s team, she says, “I loved working with the entire team. I think a good film demands a good team, and I feel glad and fortunate that I got a chance to work with such a wonderful team. I was very comfortable, and they took care of not just me but my team as well. It was a very easy and smooth experience for me, which is why the result is outstanding.”
Happy with the response the song has received and full of praise for the crew, she says, “I am glad that Bombe Bombe has been receiving a good response. It is a very vibrant and energetic song, choreographed by Bhanu Master, a prominent Indian film choreographer. Ranjan Shivaraam Gowda sir has directed it beautifully, while also keeping my comfort in mind as an artiste. And the hero, Adityaa, is a gem of a person; he really helped me in every possible way. I had an amazing time while shooting this project.”
Looking ahead, Shivangi is keen to explore more opportunities in the South film industry. She shares, “I am already receiving a lot of love in the South. The South industry is very rooted and disciplined, whereas the Mumbai industry is fast-paced and experimental. Both are different in their own ways, and each has its own strengths. I am now keen on taking on versatile projects and continuing to entertain the audience. I’m staying positive and keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that a substantial and meaningful project comes my way soon.”
