As per multiple reports, Shefali was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai on Friday night by her husband Parag Tyagi and three others. Sadly, she was declared brought dead. A hospital receptionist also revealed she had already passed away before reaching the hospital. Though widely reported to be due to cardiac arrest, the exact cause of her death has not been officially confirmed.
Shefali shot to fame with the hit music video ‘Kaanta Laga’, winning hearts with her bold moves and vibrant style. She later appeared on two seasons of ‘Nach Baliye’, delighting viewers with her dance skills, and was a popular contestant on ‘Bigg Boss 13’, where her sweet bond with the late Sidharth Shukla was much loved. Few know she also had a brief role in Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar’s 2004 film ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’, and starred in the Kannada film ‘Hudugaru’.
After marrying Parag Tyagi in 2014, Shefali stayed away from daily limelight but remained active on social media, sharing happy moments and glamorous photoshoots. Just three days before her passing, she posted striking pictures in a silver jumpsuit with the caption, “Bling it on baby!” — words that now feel heartbreakingly bittersweet to her many fans.
