Shanaya Kapoor’s glam journey: Then and now photos you can’t miss

Carrying forward the glamour of the Kapoor family, Shanaya Kapoor – daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor – is ready to step into the spotlight. She’s also set to star opposite Vikrant Massey in the musical drama ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’, showing she’s serious about making a name for herself in Bollywood. Reports suggest that she will be seen in the upcoming Student of the year 3 web series directed by Karan Johar. Let’s take a look at her journey so far – from a star kid to a rising star.

2/6

Rooted in Bollywood Royalty

Shanaya Kapoor comes from one of Bollywood’s most well-known families. Her father, Sanjay Kapoor, is an actor, and her mother, Maheep Kapoor, is a designer and businesswoman. She grew up surrounded by famous relatives – including Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. With such a strong film background, it’s no surprise that she’s always had her eyes set on the big screen.

3/6

Teenage Years and Star-Studded Friendships

Even before her debut, Shanaya was often in the public eye. As a teen, she was regularly seen at celebrity events with other star kids like Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday. The trio’s close bond is well-known, and their friendship has often made headlines. Growing up together in the limelight likely gave Shanaya a strong support system and helped prepare her for a career in film.

4/6

Learning Behind the Scenes

Shanaya didn’t rush into acting. She started her journey by learning the ropes behind the camera. She worked as an assistant director on ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, which starred her cousin Janhvi Kapoor. This behind-the-scenes role gave her real experience of how films are made – a smart move that shows her dedication to understanding the industry inside out.

5/6

Exciting Projects on the Way

With several big projects lined up, Shanaya is finally ready to face the camera. She’ll be starring in the multilingual film ‘Vrushabha’, as well as ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’ and ‘Tu Yaa Main’. Her film choices so far suggest that she’s keen to try a variety of roles and build her own identity – rather than just relying on her famous surname.

6/6

A Style Star in the Making

Shanaya’s fashion game is also making waves. From her early days as a star kid to her current appearances on red carpets and fashion events like Paris Fashion Week, her style has grown more polished and personal. With her trendy yet elegant looks, she’s fast becoming a Gen Z style icon – and people are definitely taking notice.
