Shahid Kapoor announces the launch of the title track of 'Udta Punjab'

Fans are eagerly waiting to see actor Shahid Kapoor's rockstar avatar Tommy Singh in the Abhishek Chaubey's next 'Udta Punjab'. Much to their delight, the actor took to Twitter to announce the launch of the title track of the film.

Recently, the teaser of the anthem track of the film, which is named Ud-daa Punjab, was released. Shahid shared his look from the song saying: shahidkapoor#udtapunjab title track out tomorrow.@boscomartis you killed it brother.

The song is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Amit Trivedi and is choreographed by Bosco Martis. The teaser gives a glimpse of Shahid's character in the film saying 'Fly high with Gabru'. 'Udta Punjab' is a film themed on the drug abuse in Punjab and is slated to hit the theatres on June 17.
