'Alpha': Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to make cameos in Alia Bhatt starrer?

The anticipation surrounding Alia Bhatt's upcoming spy film 'Alpha', hit a new high over the weekend, with rumours rife that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan may just make cameos in the film.

Shah Rukh Khan to make a cameo in Alpha?

The film that marks the YRF Spy Universe's first female-led espionage drama, is touted to get the famous spies Tiger and Pathaan together again onscreen. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Aditya Chopra has approached Shah Rukh to appear as his iconic spy character in the film which would reportedly set the ball rolling for 'Pathaan 2'.




However, as SRK is currently shooting his action film 'King', with daughter Suhana Khan and Deepika Padukone, the makers are said to be evaluating scheduling logistics. The actor has reportedly been asked to set aside three to four days in early November for the cameo shoot. If he is unable to do so, the cameo will reportedly be re-worked into a post-credit scene instead.

Will Salman Khan team up SRK?

Meanwhile, the report further states that Salman Khan could also make his return as Tiger, after his cameo in 'Pathaan'. According to the report, Salman will only agree to the cameo if it matches the impact of his previous role. “The writing has to justify it,” a source told the portal.

Althoug an official confirmation is still awaited, industry insiders claim that these are just viral rumours.

Alpha release date

'Alpha' is set to be the next chapter in the spy universe, after the 'Tiger', 'Pathaan' and 'War' franchises. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
