Bollywood has not just painted love stories on the silver screen but has given inspiration to couples with their offscreen romances too. In 2016, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora decided to part ways after 18 years of marriage. Their son Arhaan was born in the year 2002, and Malaika was granted his custody after divorce. Reportedly, she had demanded Rs 10 crore as settlement. They however continued to co-parent their son and even worked on a couple of projects thereafter.

From friends to lovers and husband-wife – Hrithik and Sussanne had a dreamy romance. He was the handsome hunk everyone envied and Sussanne was the perfect wife everyone dreamed of. But just before their 13^th anniversary, the couple announced their separation. However, Hrithik and Sussanne’s bond continues to stay strong as they actively co-parent their sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan. From birthdays to festivals and holidays – Hrithik and Sussanne never shy away from reuniting for their boys.

Their inter-faith marriage was all things filmy! Seema and Sohail crossed paths in 1998 when the latter was working on his debut directorial ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’. Soon, sparks flew, romance bloomed and the couple decided to elope because Seema’s parents were reportedly against her relationship with Sohail Khan. An Arya Samaj wedding and a Nikah later, Sohail and Seema’s families accepted them. The couple turned parents to Nirvaan in 2000 and Yohan in 2011. After 24 years of togetherness, Sohail and Seema called it quits in 2022.

Despite an age gap of over a decade, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh were madly in love. The couple had a low key wedding in 1991 and after 13 years of being together, Saif and Amrita parted ways. Saif had maintained that Amrita’s attitude towards his family had soured the romance, while speculations were rife that Saif had drifted on and found love elsewhere. After his separation from Amrita in 2004, Saif went on to marry Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012, they have two sons – Taimur and Jeh.

They crossed paths during the shoot of ‘Lagaan’, when Kiran was working as an AD. Aamir had separated from first wife Reena and he found a friend in Kiran. Cupid struck and the two got hitched in 2005. After a beautiful relationship spanning 15 years, Aamir and Kiran decided to part ways in 2021. “We would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other,” the couple had said in a statement.
