Sarika's phone stolen

There was a commotion on the sets of Rahul Dholakia’s film Society on Thursday afternoon after Sarika’s cell phone went missing.
Apparently the cell phone was stolen from her vanity van while she was on the sets to give a shot. Sarika was so upset that she refused to eat food and was heard grumbling about it for the rest of the day.
Our source said, “When Sarika discovered that the cell phone wasn’t in her vanity van, she was very upset.She brought it up with director Rahul Dholakia and creative producer Rakesh Upadhyaya. A thorough search was conducted but it couldn’t be located. Sarika skipped lunch with the unit members, finished her work quietly and left.”
When contacted, the film’s producer Smita Thackrey said, “We are like a family on the sets and I was as unhappy about the incident as she was. The phone was stolen from her van and there are so many people on the sets that it’s extremely difficult to question everyone. When Dimpleji, Randhirji and Javed Jaffrey were eating, she didn’t join them. I was not on the sets when all this happened, but when I learnt about it, I immediately bought her a new phone.”
