Samir Karnik's Lohri fixation
If Salman Khan considers the festival of Id lucky, and Shah Rukh banks upon Diwali, film director, Samir Karnik seems fixated with the date of Lohri (the Punjabi festival celebrated in January second week which marks the beginning of New Year) for his film releases.
After the success of his last film, "Yamla Pagla Deewana" which was also released earlier this year on Lohri, Samir has fixed the Lohri date yet again for his forthcoming release, "Chaar Din Ki Chandni".

Kulraj Randhawa, who plays the lead actresses yet again (she was also the female lead opposite Bobby Deol in "Yamla Pagla Deewana") in "Char Din Ki Chandni" says, "Samir wants to release this film also on Lohri next month. Somehow he considers this date lucky for his films."
The film is a comic caper and has ample "madness" in it, according to Kulraj, which also makes it a fun watch for the holiday season and mood around Lohri.
