After a long dry spell brought about by the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting worldwide shutdown, the Indian box office is waiting with a bated breath for theatrical releases. With South films like 'Krack' and 'Master' witnessing a phenomenal response from the audience, Bollywood filmmakers have got all the encouragement they needed to put their films up for a release in the theatres. From Salman Khan's 'Radhe' to Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey'; here is a list of films that have confirmed a release on the big screen:

Bollywood's Bhaijaan came to the rescue of exhibitors by announcing that he will be releasing his film, 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' in cinema halls on Eid this year. Trade experts have hailed the decision as a 'win-win' situation for everyone and fans are eagerly waiting for May 12 to see their favourite superstar on the silver screen once again.

Akshay Kumar was one of the first Bollywood superstars to resume work amidst the pandemic. The 53-year-old actor has wrapped up several projects and 'Bell Bottom' is one of them. The makers are now working on the post-production to meet the film's release date of April 2, 2021.

With a lot of interesting projects in her kitty, Kangana Ranaut is all set to come out all guns blazing on October 1 with 'Dhaakad'. While her fierce look as Agent Agni is impressive, it's Arjun Rampal's entry as the main antagonist that adds to the fireworks that the film promises.

After winning the audience over with his brilliant performance in 'Kabir Singh', Shahid Kapoor is all set to storm the screens with another South remake. His upcoming sports drama 'Jersey', that also stars Mrunal Thakur, will open on Diwali (November 5) this year.

The audience will witness the first box office clash of 2021 when John Abraham's 'Satyameva Jayate 2' will lock horns with Salman's 'Radhe' on Eid. John has been busy shooting for the film ever since the lockdown was relaxed and had announced last year that his film will hit theatres on Eid 2021.
