The film, which launched Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, is now showing in major cities, offering a second chance for audiences to experience its heartwarming story of love, pain, and hope.
Mohit Suri's directorial musical romance drama ‘Saiyaara’ enjoyed a dream run at the box office upon its release last year on July 18, 2025. The film became a perfect launchpad for the newcomers Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday as they rose to immense fame with their first project. Now, just before Valentine’s Day 2026, ‘Saiyaara’ has quietly returned to theatres.While there has been no official announcement from the makers of the film, it can be noticed that the showtimes of the film have appeared on online ticket booking platforms. The film seems to be returning to the big screens in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune. Interestingly, Mumbai also has weekend shows, while the Delhi audience can watch it till Wednesday as of now. The ticket prices are comparatively lower.

Plot of ‘Saiyaara’

The film follows Krish, played by Ahaan Panday, who struggles with childhood pain and career problems. He finds Vaani’s poetry notebook. Vaani, played by Aneet Padda, is heartbroken after Mahesh leaves her at the altar. Music brings Krish and Vaani together, and love slowly grows. Their happiness is shaken when Vaani is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s. The film shows love, pain, and hope in a very simple way.

‘Saiyaara’ box office performance

After running in theatres for more than 50 days, ‘Saiyaara’ went on to collect over Rs 569.75 crore worldwide, according to a report by trade analyst Sacnilk. Viewers praised the songs, emotions, and simple storytelling. After a successful time on the silver screens, the movie later transitioned into the digital space as it was released on Netflix on September 12, 2025.On the film’s six-month mark in January, Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday reunited to relive one of ‘Saiyaara’ most loved moments from the “Abhi Kuch Pal Baaki Hai” scene. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “18.07.25 —> 18.01.26.”
