Ranvir Shorey is all set to reprise his role as Balwant 'Bunty' Khosla in the film 'Khosla Ka Ghosla 2'. He will be returning the original cast, Anupam Kher and Bomani Irani. In an interview with Mid Day, he said, "I didn't want to be the reason the Khosla family couldn't get back together."In the same interview, Ranvir Shorey further expressed that people don't understand what goes on behind the scenes on the sets of the film. He said, "What actors, directors, and writers struggle with, you cannot imagine. The kind of egos you have to deal with just to be able to do the kind of work you want to do." Directed by Dibakar Banerjee and written by Jaideep Sahni, the comedy film stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, and Tara Sharma in the lead roles. The movie was released in theaters in September 2026. Over the years, the film achieved a cult status among the audience.In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Parvin Dabass, who played the role of Cherry Khosla in the first installment and is also returning for the second, shared that the script for the upcoming film is fresh. He added, "The characterization remains the same, but the journey is new. It’s exciting, it’s fun, and it’s also going to be an emotional ride."The makers are yet to announce the release date of the film.
