Ranveer Singh’s 'Dhurandhar 2' may feature FA9LA-like song; Actor’s rise as Sher-e-Baloch to be celebrated
The spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar has already generated strong excitement among fans. Now, a new report suggests that the sequel will feature a special song celebrating Hamza’s rise as Sher-e-Baloch.
FA9LA-like song planned for Sher-e-Baloch
According to a report by Mid‑Day, the sequel will include a track similar to FA9LA. The song will reportedly highlight Hamza’s transformation and the moment when he earns the title Sher-e-Baloch. A few new glimpse from the song was also shown in the Dhurandhar- The Revenge' trailer.
The song is said to capture this moment in a dramatic and celebratory manner, much like FA9LA did in the original movie.
Shot on the same Ladakh set
A report revealed why the filmmakers chose to shoot both songs at the same time. Aditya decided to shoot the two songs back-to-back as the set was already standing, and given the challenging climatic conditions, it didn’t make sense to return to Ladakh later only for a song.
Ranveer Singh's character won’t dance
the report explained that the personalities of the two characters are not the same. Rehman Dakait was portrayed as a bold and flamboyant figure, whereas Hamza is shown as intense and mission-driven. “While the background dancers perform, Hamza isn’t seen joining them,” the report suggests.
Akshaye Khanna’s viral FA9LA moment
Director Aditya Dhar decided to retain those spontaneous steps in the final cut of the song. After the film’s release, the performance quickly went viral on social media. The song, composed by Flipperachi, became one of the most talked-about moments of the movie.
Meanwhile, 'Dhurandhar 2' also features a strong ensemble cast. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun and will hit the big screens on March 19.
