Ranveer Singh tried to patch up after Don 3 fallout but ‘neither Farhan Akhtar nor Zoya Akhtar wants to work with him again’: Report
The reported fallout between filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and actor Ranveer Singh following the latter’s exit from Don 3 has reportedly escalated further.
According to an insider close to the matter, Ranveer Singh allegedly attempted to smooth over tensions by offering to collaborate on another film with either Farhan Akhtar or his sister Zoya Akhtar. However, the insider claimed that the proposal was turned down immediately.
“The offer was made to both Farhan and his production partner Ritesh Sidhwani but was turned down immediately,” the insider told ABP Live.
“Ranveer offered to do another film, selected mutually by Farhan and Ranveer. Ranveer also offered to do a film with Farhan’s sister Zoya Akhtar, with whom he has done Gully Boy in the past,” the insider added.
However, according to the same insider, the situation has reportedly deteriorated to the extent that neither Farhan nor Zoya is interested in working with Ranveer again.

As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Salman personally contacted both sides in an attempt to calm the situation and encourage a peaceful resolution.
“Salman Khan is fond of Ranveer Singh, and is equally fond of the Akhtars too. He picked up the call on both the stakeholders, and has asked them to resolve their issues without hurting the future of their respective projects,” an industry insider was quoted as saying.
The insider further claimed that Salman spoke separately to both sides to better understand their perspectives.
“He explained to Farhan about creative differences being a common thing in the industry for decades, and he also had a long chat with Ranveer, understanding his stance. He is playing the cupid to ensure that no one feels sabotaged.”
The report further suggested that both Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar are taking Salman Khan’s advice seriously and are attempting to find an amicable solution before the matter escalates further.
“The last time, when Aamir Khan held a meeting at his residence to resolve the issue, Ranveer insisted that Farhan and Ritesh not be present at the meeting. Any settlement effort in future will be acceptable to Farhan and Ritesh only if they are present,” a person aware of the development revealed.
The actor has also reportedly faced a “shadow ban” from Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) after allegedly failing to respond to multiple notices issued following a complaint filed by Farhan Akhtar with the trade union last month.
“The offer was made to both Farhan and his production partner Ritesh Sidhwani but was turned down immediately,” the insider told ABP Live.
