Ranveer Allahbadia says Samay Raina will be back, reveals 'India’s Got Latent’ controversy got them closer

Ranveer Allahbadia, known to many as BeerBiceps, recently opened up about the tough time he went through following the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy. The digital creator, who was heavily criticised earlier this year, has made a quiet but powerful comeback.

During an Instagram ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, Ranveer responded to fans who asked how the controversy affected him. His reply was raw and emotional. “Lost: Health, money, opportunity, repute, mental health, peace, parents' contentment & much more. Gained: Transformation, spiritual growth, toughness. Will slowly work towards getting back everything that's lost. Let the work speak.”

This was the first time Ranveer openly listed everything he had lost because of the backlash. Yet, he also spoke about how he grew spiritually and emotionally during the tough time.

When someone asked if he was still in touch with fellow creator and show host Samay Raina, Ranveer had a heartfelt response. He revealed that the controversy actually brought them all closer. “Samay will be back. All of us have gotten closer after the events. Stand by each other in good times as well as in bad times. My brother is (already) a media legend. God is watching over all of us. Just wanna say, love you Ashish Chanchlani & The Rebel Kid as well. Picture abhi baaki hai.”

His words were filled with warmth and support for Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija (also known as The Rebel Kid) — all of whom were on the panel during the controversial episode.

What happened during the show?
The controversy began after an episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’ where Ranveer asked a contestant an inappropriate question. Although the panel laughed at the time, the clip went viral online and was slammed for being vulgar and insensitive. The backlash was immediate. Multiple FIRs were filed against the show’s team, including Ranveer, Ashish, and Apoorva.
