Rani Mukerji’s energy leaves Janki Bodiwala inspired; 'Mardaani 3' actress reveals, 'Team got motivational speech before shoot'

Janki Bodiwala has been having a nice moment in her career right now. After receiving immense praise for her performance in 'Shaitaan', she is now getting a lot of love for her role in 'Mardaani 3'. Janki plays a cop in the film, critics and movie goers have once again applauded the actress for her character.

In a recent interview with The Free Press Journal, when the 'Vash' actress was asked about working with Rani Mukerji, she said they first met during the workshop before the shoot.




Janki said, "We met during the workshop. The energy she carries with her; oh my god! She is lovely as a person. She is very energetic. It is such a big motivation for us. She is so full of life, and a very down-to-earth person, I must say."

Janki said she felt very comfortable around Rani because of the warm way she talks and behaves.

Janki also shared a very sweet moment from her first in person interaction with Rani, "The very first day we met her, she gave us a little motivational speech that, 'we have to do it, we have to make this one of the best films of the franchise'. She motivated us all a lot."

Janki said this moment stayed with her because it gave everyone a strong push. She felt happy that a senior actress like Rani spoke to them with so much care.

Janki also said Rani made everyone feel like they were all part of the same team and all of them had to give their best.

Rani was supportive and professional on set

Janki also talked about the shooting days. She said that working next to Rani on the screen felt like a very big thing for her, but she did not feel scared.

"And then while working with her, while sharing the screen with her, she was very supportive, very professional."

Janki said Rani helped her feel calm and focused. She said Rani behaved very kindly with everyone and always stayed ready to help or guide if needed. The Gujarati actress said she learned a lot just by watching how Rani works every day on set.

'Mardaani 3' moves steadily at the box office

'Mardaani 3' is also doing fine at the box office. On the eighth day, the movie made around Rs 1.75 crore in India as reported by the Sacnilk website. With this, the film now stands at about Rs 28.05 crore in total. The film had already earned Rs 26.30 crore in its first week. So the second week started in a slow but steady way.

The film saw 11.63% Hindi occupancy on Friday. Morning shows were quiet at 6.58%. Afternoon shows did a little better at 10.77%. Evening shows went up to 11.58%. Night shows did the best at 17.60%. So people came slowly and more people came in the evening and night.

'Mardaani 3' is getting attention even though the numbers are not magnificent when compared to other Bollywood blockbusters.
