Actor Yash has been busy promoting 'Ramayana' at CinemaCon and his big revelations at the festival have taken social media by storm. The star, in his latest chat, spilled the beans about film's release date.Fans keeping up with the 'Ramayana' saga will know that the team announced a Diwali release for the film. However, they have not yet announced a date for its release. While the festival of Diwali is early November (5-11), according to the film's lead antagonist, fans can expect the film to arrive a week early.

Yash teases October release for 'Ramayana'In a video from the actor's interview with a Hollywood news portal, he hints at a late-October release window for 'Ramayana: Part 1'. Speaking at CinemaCon 2026, Yash revealed, “‘Ramayana’ we are planning this year, (on) Diwali, which is October last week,” indicating a potential shift from previously discussed release timelines.
'Ramayana' to avert clash with 'Godzilla'If the film opts for an end-October release, it could get a head-start at an already crowded year-end box office. It will also avert a clash with the monster film 'Godzilla Minus Zero', which is slated for a November 6 release and the children's film 'The Cat in the Hat', also releasing on the same day.
