Raghav Juyal: There’s no competition between Lakshya & me
Known for his spontaneity and comic timing, Raghav Juyal first rose to fame as a dancer before becoming a popular television host. His performance in the action film Kill won him praise, and now he is winning the audience’s love with his latest act in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. In a chat with us, Rahav said, “I have a habit of surprising myself in life. Maybe in a few years I will move away from acting—you might find me horse riding somewhere (laughs). The only thing about acting is that you get to live different characters, so you don’t get bored. With acting, there is self-discovery. For now, I am enjoying this work, so I am doing it.”
In the series that dropped recently, Raghav stars alongside his Kill co-star Lakshya, and their on-screen chemistry has been widely praised. When asked if they ever fear being overshadowed by the other, Raghav says, “We became friends as we spent so much time working on Kill. Hamara nature same hai, jokes same hai, humour same hai. We understand each other well and this equation reflects on screen. There’s no competition. Nothing is bigger than your film.”
Sharing his thoughts on Aryan as a director, Raghav tells us, "It’s commendable that as a first-time director Aryan (Khan) made a series that’s high on comedy along with drama. It is a risk given how tough the genre is. Aryan had a fresh and brave take. He is raw and unapologetic,"
